i just got to the core in 5 or 6 days, if you dont have a portable oxygenator after 8 days, get a chemistry lab and atmosphere condenser, and get alot of power, also make a medium shuttle if you dont have it, now take your atmospheric condenser, package it up with graphite, and get alot of power sources, use generators for atrox and wind turbines for glacio, get argon and helium from glacio and atrox repestively, you will need those for the nanocarbon alloy, then bring as much as you can back with you, and go back to sylva to deposit everything, get a spare rocket thruster, and go to either vesania or novus (you dont need to go to both) with some tethers and look for titanite on the mountains in vesania, and titanite in the caves of novus, come back to sylva when you have atleast 3 titanite, and smelt it, then go to glacio and look for hematite on the surface, once you do that get some nitrogen and hydrogen in sylva, get ammonium for hydrazine, then with it and some graphite you can make graphene, and make the titanium alloy, use the iron and argon from earlier and carbon to make steal, then use the helium from atrox you collected and make the nanocarbon alloy, unlock the portable oxygenator, and make it with the nanocarbon alloy, if you dont have a qt-rtg, then do missions until you get one, else, put both portable oxygenator and and qt rtg in your backpack, and activate the portable oxygenator, now you dont have to worry about suffocation, you might need a second qt-rtg for printing and terrain tool modifiers but other then that, your done

I feel rather filthy after watching this... Amazing run, awesome glitches, tactics, knowledge of the game. Astroneer is truly one of those games that i refuse to play to often, so i can enjoy the latest expansion and patches like it's a whole new game.
btw that rocket seat warping is usable in your average adventure mode save,on anything you can ride on. the terrain glitching is not advised because you might want a clear path to the core for multiple reasons.
Let's put aside the amazement of this being a speedrunning video and him doing everything is 100x speed, for example, 4:03 what is that ring of plants? does that naturally occur in the game? in my 3 years of experience i never saw such a circle naturally spawned with the black weird sylva mountain plants, not to mention the leaf plants which i have never seen in the game, but eh i'll get a bunch of hate comments being like: how dare you doubt a speedrunner! like chill bruh im just pointing this weird thing out.

You don’t need the gateway chambers to activate the core. The gateway chambers just lower the “force field” around the core. He is able to glitch through it with the shuttle. But you can just activate one gateway chamber and the core force field will drop

so using oxygen cheats of course is gonna shave off a huge amount of time
No cheats, crafting filters and proximity to shuttle regenerates oxygen
