I wish I were there. One day I will go. Hamlyn orchids was there the second viewed claude there. I knew i would end up breaking my bank there with broughtonia. Also Anselia africana is a plant on my wishlist its native to tropical east/ south africa and has this odd behavior of growing in almost dry Savanah. They can grow as big as and even taller than me Im 6'1 they will fool you looking like cornstalk in the bush. They will look like corn and they grow just like cyrtopedium the native Florida's orchid. The roots on anselia create basket growing upwards so they love things like used tea as fertilizer strangely enough. Anselia are orchids I want to collect but they are so expensive where I can find them. If you like them and you are at Tamiami buy them as they are not easy to get online. Anselia africana are also used in african medicine and rituals... example psuedobulbs/canes taken as a tea or made into a love charm. Scientists have found that it has compounds which affect alzheimers. Very interesting orchid indeed.
Blanca and Laz, you guys are awesome, I know Afri Orchids please give them a better shout out. Very good people and they grow beautiful in South Africa.

I find a lot go too fast, so I slow down the video.
