888ian2 most lands....? Are you talking about imperiorsaur? Or something else? Cause you ramp out imperiorsaur with arbor elf and voyage satyr with utopia sprawl for a land that makes excess mana and then untapped that land for 4 mana turn 2 type of shennangians
With Vorinclex you can go for 13 and get a guaranteed (different) Emrakul instead of a coinflip that might give you Autochthon Wurm. It doesn't have the annihilator 6 but it is still a big fat flier. Loving the Momir Basic content (vintage cube too)
I really don't know what you mean. Judge's familiar, Oashra Cultivator, Soul's Attendant and War falcon were all great hits as well. And the 1/1 menace was decent.
The only 13 mana creature is Emrakul, the Promised End, which is a 2-turn clock, but more reliable than banking on the 15-mana Emrakul/Autochthon Wurm coin flip. With Vorinclex in play the annihilator doesn't matter

So, the decklist comes from technology from 5-7 years ago, but it's extra Mountains and Swamps because there are a lot of cards where black or red is a mana sink, such as Demonic Hordes, Helldozer, Dragon Whelp, and Shivan Dragon, and fewer Plains, Islands, and Forests. It's possible to need the other 3 basics, for example, there's a creature that for 3 Islands can tap to bounce (destroy) a creature. Having 4 Forests stops Force of Nature from killing you. But, it's not as important as Mountains and Swamps. Wastes is not in the deck because Endbringer and friends are too rare. Snow-covered lands aren't legal. All other cards aren't legal.
It's possible that Magic: The Gathering has moved away from landwalk creatures and creatures with Protection, such that deck technology doesn't matter in Momir. However, Momir is no longer in the "dailies" so there's no premium tournaments, and thus, no incentive for anybody to study it anymore.
Who does make the selection cards in the pool? I don't get why there are cards that don't do anything for example that One that tutors a card when your library Is All Land or that One that have power equal to the Number of instant or sorcery when instead there aren't any of those
there is actually a surprising amount of skill (on top of the obvious luck component). Rather than having luck with what you draw like in a normal game, you have luck in what creature is made.

You explained it a bit wrong, what creature you get is not completely random, but it depends on how much you paid. The creature you get costs exactly as much mana as you paid. So especially in the higher costs yo CAN influence what you get. In some formats you can even decide the colour of the creature, and when you know the pool very well (there is momir for standard, modern etc.) , it is a huge advantage, because like say in blue there could be only 1 or 2 creatures that cost exactly 9 mana. So knowledge is of extreme importance. On the other hand you can also whiff, if there is no creature that costs exactly this you get nuffin. In the standard momir event on arena this happened to several opponents of me, which won me the game, since they wiffed and I Just paid one less getting a big boi. Also back then many 3 drops where pretty shitty, so you where better of getting a 2 drop or skip that turn. Last but not least you only draw 1 card per tun usually, so you can get to a point where you have to make the call to either have no land drop or no creature this turn, which can swing the game pretty hard. This also means any creature being able to draw you extra cards is worth a ton and should be protected hard, since it allows for example to get a chump blocker and a big boi, while he only has a big boi, disabling him to attack, and you def do not have to skip later turns and still have a landdrop. So there is a lot more tactic to it then people realize.
Would you have any interest in a momir tournament? I am thinking of making it best of 3 matches (so 9 possible games) to reduce variance.

Not much 4 Mana creatures do much vs the 6, 7, and 8 drops. But a few can still have a late game impact, very few.

It's completely random over all cards on MODO, which is almost every single card in Magic. It contains some very bad cards.

With 13 mana you get the other emrakul (its the only 13 cmc card)! Which is far better because you just win on the spot!
oh nvm, i forgot that the other emrakul give the turn back to the opponent. But even then, you can waste all their creatures in combat
