No power duo . Chlorinde did close to nothing and Wro really thought he could freeze the entire sea in the first place .

To explain the act, Neuvillette being a badass, Clorinde and Wrio are a power duo, Arlecchino scares the shit out of Furina (literally, she couldn’t sleep or eat because of her) and Childe is tripping balls
What I seriously love about the Childe cutscene is that he finally had light in his eyes! As if the Abyss or the sight of the abyssal whale gave him back that spark of life

Childe engulfed by the Primodial Water and seeing this whale is gonna be a bigger plot point in the next archon quest. Can't wait honestly.

But as for Neuvillette, he is an ancient soul in a new body. Hydro Dragon Sovereign in the form of a human, reincarnated. His soul is ancient, so thus his passionate hatred against Heavens Above (PO, the 2nd who came, and Celestia).

Ever since 4.0, the game's being too smart for their choices of where to end the archon quest. In 4.0 act II, where it ends as the sun set/and the rain stops and now this? wow. This game never cease to amaze me at times.

Superconduct increases Cryo effect, she is electro. They clearly put these two elements for a reason.

they usually are not
Apart from Scaramouche, the harbingers aren't usually the final fight in the archon quests. They usually become the weekly boss fights.

You know I was wondering smth. Why didnt they just... close the doors preemptively to begin with? Did they need to like freeze the initial wave for it to work or they just wanted to keep close tabs on the Sea coming?
Even if they did it will keep building up pressure until it breaks through door one by one.
Wriothesley's plan was basically to try and Freeze the Primordial water. It didn't work so he wanted to get Neuvillette. Because it is clear he knows Neuvillette can do something about it but not how.

Its obvious why they did close the doors to begin with it would've still gotten through

The cutscenes were amazing but I felt like this whole quest was just filler
It was, the only thing that mattered was the remaining 30 minutes.
After finishing this entire quest. Agree. All of furina's archon quest are filler except fighting the whale.
