There's a really chilling moment after Jax asks if Jury thinks his dad ran his bike into the semi on purpose. For a split second his eyes look inward, and with the show as a whole, it's incredible, as is the whole scene. I took for granted how much rewatch value Sons has.
It's ironic that Gemma was always telling herself that lying to Jax about killing Tara was to protect him... When in reality she sentenced him to death. If she told him, Bobby would be alive and huge amount of other things would not have happened. Gemma may say whatever she wants about family, but in the end, she wanted to save herself cause she knew she'd die.
I think Gemma underestimated the extremes her son would go to for Tara. She thought Jax killing that innocent Chinese man would be enough for Jax. Like she said to Juice. He needed it, closure. He was always my favorite character because he always came across as the most level headed and father-like of the club, the times he almost died I almost died myself from a heart attack.

Yeah, his accent is definitely present at certain times much more than others. I really hear it when he says “settled”. It reminds me of Lydia from Breaking Bad. She’s Scottish and she plays an American in the show, very similar deal. Great American accent, but there’s moments her real accent shines through the cracks.

Nobody could prove Clay sabotaged John's bike. Lowell SR was killed the week after John went down by Clay and Tig and he was buried with the Myans. No one would've ever known about it had water and power not been digging lines and found the bodies

Jax justifying the kill almost instantly is part of the reason the club had no choice but to vote mayhem when the time came. His reckless behavior as club president was only going to get the people that were loyal to him killed. Perfect example is when he set up Tig only to change his mind while walking out of that place and then convincing Tig that it was his plan all along and he was never in danger.

Something beautiful about this scene is if you look at Jurys president patch it’s clean as whistle even though he got patched over the first season, look at how dirty Jax’s president patch is shows how corrupted he was at this point.

I like how they just leave jury's body there and dont worry about how itll be disposed of. They leave it with a person who is extremely against and pissed off about the killing... Jax decides to trust that he will go about it correctly.

I feel like if Jax hadn’t killed Jury he wouldn’t have committed suicide in the end, that he’d somehow still be president and now that Gemma and most of the bad guys were gone, his reign would FINALLY be peaceful as it should’ve been. Jury said some hurtful but true statement about Jax turning into something he father wouldn't want to see. Jax punched him, Jury hit the ground, his gun came out. Jury reached for it, probably because he knew would Jax had become, and he might try to kill him. But Jury reached for his gun first. Jax didn't pull his weapon, and shoot, until he saw Jury reach for it. It was a fistfight before Jury reached for his weapon. At the end of the day it was self defense for Jax. But Jax used it to do, what he knew had to happen.

Jax straight up killed an innocent man who was a fully patched member AND president of another charter without permission. On top of that Jax killed Jury's son! Jax just got salty because Jury was calling him out on his recklessness and being right. John would of hated what Jax became.

Yeah, his accent is definitely present at certain times much more than others. I really hear it when he says “settled”. It reminds me of Lydia from Breaking Bad. She’s Scottish and she plays an American in the show, very similar deal. Great American accent, but there’s moments her real accent shines through the cracks.

I know this scene isn't really about Clay but when Jury asks Jax what he thought happened to his father Jax says "Clay sabotaged his bike" Jury responds "yeah we heard those rumors" this makes me wonder, how the hell did Clay not only get away with everything he did for so long but also manage to take the gavel??? There were rumors circulating that he had killed John, rumors were even going around OUTSIDE of SAMCRO yet he was able to take the club with no push back whatsoever??? Not to mention married his old lady too? They really need to make a First 9 prequel.

Jax justifying the kill almost instantly is part of the reason the club had no choice but to vote mayhem when the time came. His reckless behavior as club president was only going to get the people that were loyal to him killed. Perfect example is when he set up Tig only to change his mind while walking out of that place and then convincing Tig that it was his plan all along and he was never in danger.

Wow like 90% off all the incidents in this show would have been avoided if it weren’t for Gemma and her obsession with keeping Jax and his sons local. She was a truly evil person and had the nerve to think she deserved mercy until the very last minute. As much as I cannot stand the concept of any man killing his mother, she deserved it. Over and over again. Jax was a terrible leader in some ways though, too hot headed, etc. But it makes for good tv I guess.

No, Clay was poison from the beginning...Jax's personal trauma just made him ill-equipped to be president. After Tara's death he should have stepped down from being president and focused his energies entirely on finding out who killed her

I feel like if Jax hadn’t killed Jury he wouldn’t have committed suicide in the end, that he’d somehow still be president and now that Gemma and most of the bad guys were gone, his reign would FINALLY be peaceful as it should’ve been. I absolutely hate the fact that Clay’s reign was much smoother than Jax’s.

Jury said some hurtful but true statement about Jax turning into something he father wouldn't want to see. Jax punched him, Jury hit the ground, his gun came out. Jury reached for it, probably because he knew would Jax had become, and he might try to kill him. But Jury reached for his gun first. Jax didn't pull his weapon, and shoot, until he saw Jury reach for it. It was a fistfight before Jury reached for his weapon. At the end of the day it was self defense for Jax. But Jax used it to do, what he knew had to happen.
I still don't get why Jax would believe Barosky, when Jury was 100% loyal to Jax and his dad even before he was a member.

Jax turnt into poison for everything he did and how he treated people around him. He went out good. He destroyed every cancer including himself. I mostly blame Gemma. Unser was pure symbolism. The homeless lady representing death was a slow burden on them. Juice and Opie where correct all along. Tara cost her life the day she stayed with Jax in Charming. Everyone else was loyal to the bone. Clay was a prick with a deep nice heart. To summarise this show was complete fuckery and they all should’ve left the life when they had the chance, or atleast played the game well and stopped emotion from getting in there way. RIP JT
