- Now that you've created your first virtual machine, let's learn how to create containers in Proxmox!
As we saw before, virtual machines have a complete environment - a full OS, applications that are running on that OS, and they're separated from the other VMs that are running on the same hypervisor. Whereas, a container, or more specifically an LXC container, is a Linux environment that shares a common kernel.

Great series! It cuts hours off the learning of a new product and makes a world of difference in getting a lab up and running quickly. Can't wait for more of these. Think I will also have to get the full course as well.
Great and concise series. I love the continuity and flow of your thoughts. Really a gifted teacher👍👍
Great stuff as usual . The best teacher in the world
Thank you for sharing this! One of my coworkers put me onto Proxmox for a home lab. I installed it last night and found the templates list empty. You pointed me right to the solution!
You sir, have a gift!
BEST VIDEOS OF PROXMOX !
NICE JOB
woah! I thought VMs were cool until I saw the size on that container!
Great video 😊 thanks for sharing
As always best videos! Thank You mate!
This series is very nice sir, thanks a lot.
vert useful, thank you.
Thank you I like your Videos.
Thank you for these very interesting videos. I'm lost on shared storage. For example, I want the nextcloud container to share a folder with the photoprism container. Or a container with deluge with plex. I can't setup an nfs server and have it communicate with clients
Is there a possibility in the future that you will create a containerization/kubernetes course? I will be your first student. I miss your teaching style since the first time I learn CCNA
is there anyway you could connect a container to a vm? for the container to interact with the vms files
obrigado
Thks dude
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Sir,
I am looking for a help, LXC CT is not working with centos 7 template, even not starting the OS. Getting warning messages bellow...
WARN: old systemd (< v232) detected, container won't run in a pure cgroupv2 environment! Please see documentation -> container -> cgroup version.
TASK WARNINGS: 1
Thanks
Proxmox yes.....😉
Great explenation! Got a new sub. But not really usefull for me since I didn't want to use a template container included in proxmox
Thanks!
