They completely made the song their own, could be from their own album. I love this!
Aside from this being the best cover on the album, Lynn was able to bring a beautiful sadness to these lyrics. She took a song with A TON of lyrics, and slowed it down, and holy ef, she did them justice.

I love the original, but the way PVRIS have recorded this really just brings out so much emotion and draws out so much feeling, the arrangement, acoustic guitar amongst synth and electronic drums is stunning. And Lynns vocals and floaty Bv's just really flow through you and... it's just incredible x
This version grasps the dark space of the heart where our most unspoken insecurities and deepest dreams meet.

Holy shit; sonically, this captures the lyrical atmosphere better than the original, but it sacrifices the frenzy of the stream-of-consciousness flow of the original for that emotion. I literally can't decide which version captures the thematic material best.
