Noah didn't go anywhere. God sent the animals to him. As for water-based animals, God specifically said all the land animals that were not on the ark perished.

I suggest reading the Book of Enoch, The Book of Jubilees, and The Book of Jasher. These books will answer the things the Bible does not; The Book of Enoch is much more detailed on the topic of the fallen angels and their marriage to mortal women who they have children with aka Nephilim.
