You make some good points here.I just realized it's not just the animation,but it's the overall composition,colors and expressiveness of the characters.I'm gonna miss stuff like the foreshortening on Mr.Tang's pointing chopsticks,the crazy camera angles,the exaggerated head growing when characters are having intense emotions,or even simple things that makes me love MK's character: his silly expressions.
I remember seeing MK & Red Son's hand-to-hand fight scene and thought if they can make more in the future,but oh well...

I don't mind the new style it kinda reminds me of older shows and I quite enjoy that yes it could be better but I'm just grateful for a season 5 because monkie kid is amazing and has been apart of my journey to better myself i relate to alot of the characters and I'm grateful we're seeing them again especially Red Son!

This is so good! Your editing makes the show look more familiar! As much as I love lmk, seeing the trailer was really underwhelming, it felt more like a fan animation than a finished studio production. But then again, I and others have seen what Wildbrain is capable of, in there area of expertise of course(I mean look at Dragons Rising and Sonic Prime, they’re incredible animators). Hopefully the trailer is just a test and that the animation will look better as the season airs, I have hope for them!

I still have hope that this season's animation might not be ALL that bad. Wildbrain studios animated series like Ninjago and Sonic Prime, which had pretty good animation. Who knows, maybe they'll surpass our expectations.

I'm pretty sure Wild Brain studios has worked mostly with 3D animation, so a 2D animation style is one they are going to have to take time adjusting to, i have done (school)work with both and let me tell you, they are very different beasts so tackel, I'm not super upset over the animation change, I'm just glad it's not cancelled

Guys the studio is currently on strike and barely has any animators :( they're trying their hardest as all the old animators said that it was hard to animate.

I dont mind the 2d vs 3d animation thing much, but in the trailer the colors just look so dead and yucky-the expressions are also kinda lack-luster, its lmk, expressions can and should be exaggerated to some extent. The faces are also weridly small with strangley rounded heads.
I feel like this is all stuff that the animators will nail in time though.
MY OPINIONS ON THE OG VS THE EDITED
0:10 it looks fine to me, because I see in the LMK episodes, the characters are seen with small pupils and/or eyes whenever they're shocked or scared (Like Azure and Syntax), and the head looks squared to me, reminds me of my own artstyle or other LMK artist's
0:12 the lighting and surrounding looks dark and nice, it kinda gives off a dark point if view, but i don't mind the enhancement you made.
0:18 Ne Zha looks fine to me, sometimes the mouth can be drawn small, can be seen in some of the LMK episodes.
0:20 the artstyle looks fine, since he's always seen with an upside down V-like mouth.
0:23 the eyebags are always drawn like that in MK's eyes.
0:24 idk what to say, it looks fine tho but the mouth and lighting of the surroundings and bg's did needed a little improvement.
