I also want to add, that the 1,400 euro game looks like a game called ball breakers that was released in the US for the PS1. I actually still own my copy, and distinctly remember that this was a budget title that retailed for $20 when it came out, though I'm not 100% certain of that part. For a budget title, i actually really enjoyed it.
A lot of figures are going to be uncolored with the expectations that the buyer will paint it themselves, that's why you found those silver LotR figures

I was in Paris like a month ago but only had time to go to Trader Games. I did end up buying AC Liberation for PS Vita and Super Mario Deluxe for the GBC. I wish I had more time to visit the other shops

Those Predator statues hell yeah ,I totally would've bought one ,but I wasn't there I was born in 1972 HMU if U ever need to help on the older systems. Even though Sega doesn't make systems anymore it's still my absolute number 1 Sega Dreamcast My all time favorite console. I still have My Dreamcast and not 1 single scratch is on it also works 💯 👍👍 I miss NFL 2K

I've always wanted a Playdia. I mean for the last like 15 years I've wanted one. It's a Japanese only console that is put out by Bandai (also makers of the wonder swan hand helds) but they are also makers of so many of the best anime. There are tons of great anime games. It's definately something fans would love to collect.

yo @caleb (phoenix resale), if ur interested, u cud actually set ur frame rate on your Sony 6400 to 24fps, and then set ur shutter speed to 1/50 to prevent the flickers on the lights. also, when doing ur brolls, id just set the camera to S&Q mode and shoot in slowmo, 120fps fullhd (if u need it to run in regular speed just bring the speed up in post) cos it usually seems to stabilize ur footage much better. the downside is u wont be able to capture ur audio at 120fps slowmo.
oh man, you should have taken the Animal Crossing Gamecube sealed one for 300€ with you :) you would get at least 500€ for that up to a grand if the condition is minty 😅
Very cool video. I hope you make money doing this. I've seen a couple times where you doing deals and you're just so honest and sometimes I feel like even your friends take advantage of that. But at least you love what you do.

The prices there were completely nuts 700 euros for a metal gear ps3😂😂 and its not a factory seal, consoles in Europe are never sold with plastic sealings, just the paper box. The games also resealed to make them look like new.
These European stores seem more like video game museums than anything else. I don't know a lot of people that actually buy stuff there because of the silly prices
Whoever owns this place is a true passionate collector and true passionate gamer love it never seen something so cool the only bad part was those tables even though I love them and I know that's contradicting but I seen those GameBoy games were all sun-damaged I just pray that they were broken or defective somehow then that's okay to make art out of them and one last thing Caleb my friend just because you got an okay score in the easiest game known to man which is Tetris does not make you a real gamer or passionate gamer a three-year-old could beat that game just saying not trying to be mean just being honest but I do love that store and that was awesome to see I just wish we had stuff like that in the United States and if we did I've never seen it and I'm sure with all this TH-cam videos it would already been posted on TH-cam and I've never seen nothing like that for somebody to do that they got to have passion
Just because they go for that price in the US doesn't mean they're the same price different region= different price plus they're region locked to pal consoles only
It is a PAL though, beautiful to look at but won't play on a NSTC-U American console. PAL is always less then NTSC-U or NTSC-J Japanese system. They run on 50ghz instead of 60ghz US and Japan run on.

There is a Player One video game bar near Disney World next time you are here in vacation. Nothing nearly that elaborate, but still a fun place to go.

English PAL version of Carmen Sandiego is still quite cheap. Some French versions are a lot pricier than others, probably have a smaller print run.

also when u shoot at 4K, 24fps with 1/50 shutter speed, the motion blur seems more natural and not too jarring.
