- Josh Smith attends his 2nd Van Run with much excitement. Showing us his 1986 Chevy G20 Van that he has had since he was 14 years old. A work in progress with lots of enthusiasm for getting it finished and attending many more van events. We look forward to seeing him and doing a video update soon. Best of luck in your build Josh!

Josh!!! Thanks for helping rescue our pop-up at VanNats in Ohio! The blue paint job looks stellar!
Great looking van I see you have worked hard on it.
Nice job Josh

😎 kool.
That looks good now, can't wait to see it when it's done!
I saw this van at ECVN. That blue looked even better in person.🤘
Looking good!
Kudos on th engine swap. not an easy task on those vans, with lots of parts to get out of the way. Also, good thinking on the coolers. While I think these were the best vehicles ever made - including Ford and Dodge - they did get hot while towing in warmer climates. Just bad airflow by consequence. The older carb'd ones could even boill the fuel in the carb before it got atomized. I think those big American vans were the most useful vehicles I have ever owned. Now days, with a retired budget, gas mileage and no 4X4 prevents getting one again. And the late 60's vans are just too pricey now, although the can get up to 19mpg if you don't screw around too much with mods.
Very nice. Gonna be so nice and quiet in there with the sound deadening mats!
