Garbage Trucks: GFL's Manual Recycling in Livonia

One of the last manual cities left in my area. Here is a quick compilation of some of the recycle trucks that GFL disbatches to service these tedious, yet entertaining routes.

Manual is definitely becoming a thing of the past. Here in the town last September we switched over to recycle totes. Through out the whole county city's are slowly going to totes.

garbageproductions1 actually that is not one of the last city’s down in novi in Novi meadows mobile home park we get GFL and they are manual they got to hook the company cans up to the tipper on the truck next Thursday you should come here and get footage of my crew check out this video th-cam.com/video/Y_A3U2Sw25w/w-d-xo.html

Dang I love watching manual recycling routes with the 20 gallon tubs. Too bad their slowly going away. I especially love seeing Heil recycle 2000s doing separate paper and containers but that's almost impossible to still find with single stream being a thing.

I wish that it didn't go away so fast. One of the companies had 3 guys running on a 1 man recycler. Would love to see that in action again.
