RIP 6056Q. One of our club pilots took her to Catalina today and overran the runway, flipped her upside down. Total loss. Only minor injuries for the people on board, thankfully.
Good job dealing with door open. Number one; fly the airplane! Don’t even try to close the door. Turn back and land…inspect your latches and door handle once at the ramp.
@@budowens6478 By the way, the plane we bought is the header picture for my channel--N7009N. We've changed the N-number, however. It'll be N203LC when we pick it up in about a week or two. It's gonna be stacked with a whole new avionics package.
@@christopherolsen113 I'm a CFII in the club, more as a hobby than a career. If you ever want company on a cross-country trip, let me know. I'm able to log dual-given without touching the controls, and I wouldn't charge. I just want the hours to hit 1500 so I can go fly skydivers at Oceanside or do some part-time corporate gig. I'm at 800 hours now. Trevor Bartlett - look up my contact info so I don't list it here on TH-cam.

Is this the airplane you purchased in Louisiana?
Nope. We're still waiting on a couple of avionics from Garmin to come in.
Christopher Olsen thanks, enjoy your videos.

lol, I just posted a "door popped open" video on my channel in the exact same Bonanza (N6056Q)
LOL, the whole reason I posted this vid is because I saw yours.
