To be completely honest, I kinda prefer them doing online, don't get me wrong I really enjoy them playing together around a table. But it seems alot more easy-going like, trot dose an incredible job keeping the stream going, the guys are relaxed and having fun and it's alot easier for us the viewers to see the roles and with the maps. I do miss the table top gameplay and them all around the table, but this works really well and for the most part seems overall easier
guys I was thinking and what if the only way to stop Hadar is for Seaska to be destroyed by the world eater. So Starbane killed Seaska on her home world so she could be reborn later which would give Starbane time to figure out a way to kill Hadar without Seaska being destroyed. The fastest way is to use the world engine (because he thinks will work).
This makes a lot of sense. Heres my thoughts on your theory: Starbane knows in his heart that sacrificing Siaska is the only way to destroy Hadar but he loved her so much that he couldnt bring himself to let Siaska do the ultimate sacrifice so he killed her knowing she would reform one day. He then convince himself that the World Engine MUST be enough to destroy Hadar in Siaska's place even though he knows deep down this isnt gonna work but hes gonna go with that plan anyway ...... In my version of your theory im convinced Starbane knows very well that this whole World Engine plan isnt gonna work but he loves Siaska so much that he's gonna try anyway, risking the entire universe's fate just to cling on that love he has for his long lost Godess :p
I haven't reached the final episodes yet so here's my *guess* of what could be that "other thing" that Ciaska knew to stop Hadar. i think it is Valla. Ciaska probably wanted to sacrifice Valla to Hadar but Starbane was against it, so he looked for another way. and the only other idea that struck him (for some reason) is the world engine. nobody ever told us that Ciaska is genuinely good. i think at some point some of the NPCs said "But how do we know that Ciaska is *truly* the person like she is spoken about in the stories - that perfect person". It really got me thinking - yeah, just as Starbane isn't purely evil, Ciaska could easily also not be purely good
The Stormchaser current mission kinda reminds me of mass effect 3's war asset mechanic. Helping allies, gathering forces for a final confrontation etc.

Okay, I am far behind the current timeline, but calling it now, and apologies if it is still rather *spoilery* - Calis "killed" Siaska, because that way she could reincarnate over time, because the true way of stopping Hadar is by Siaska sacrificing herself or a Divine spark of herself, her daughter, with no means of ever returning, but that is just a theory a high roller theory :p

So I might be wrong but I think I remember there being 13 shards for somereasom. If that is true then he should have 7 while Nova has 5 and there is the last shard North of Goldthrown
Pretty sure its seven. I have no idea where but I remember hearing the number as thirteen in total at one point. Nova has five and one is missing. That is a total of six leaving seven in his hands.

its because their previous campaign had some things involving skies and things obscuring them. Tom wanted to throw something in from then as a joke then it stuck. Coz Mark is a wild DM and just calls their bluff.

Did quill ever tell the group about the Hadar vision with the group and starbane going to fight Hadar? Or am I just remembering the vision wrong. It was the one that started with quill chosing the colors/orbs and he picked the lightning one and the red/Hadar one.(not sure what episode it was from)

Siaska showed Kalus how to create a child i.e. Valla is a fragment of them, thus is themselves a spark of divinity. What if the plan is/was to use that spark to stop Hadar, perhaps focused through the World Engine?
