RIP Bobby Dixon/Robert Dixon aka Bobby Digital the man responsible for so many reggae anthems. I will always be captured by your brilliant productions. True inspiration.

When that slim thing started in Jamaica by Wayne Smith, I already Migrated to the United States. I know that young man 👨 from a little boy 👦, my cousin have a daughter for his brother. I useto go by his house 🏠, I liked the rhythm it is not bad at all. I didn't know that he was a singer until, I heard the song on a radio station in the United States. I useto go down by Jammys a year time when he have his anniversary, it is like you are at a stage show. I was by Jammys anniversary when he released Admiral Bailey song two years old, that is the very 1st time I heard it.The number 1 sound system to come out of Waterhouse, is King Tubbys Hi-fi. I know of a lot of sound system in Waterhouse,Excalibur, Stylistic,Wally Hi-fi, Yakka sound system, just to mentioned a few of them.
i give chin his props for his love of dancehall reggae.but GOD DAMN! this guy never interview anyone and dont talk about clash.i bet if he had the opportunity to interview bob marley or gregory isaacs etc ,he would ask them if they ever clash.
I agree with Bobby Digital. Dancehall is the venue. All Jamaican music falls under the umbrella of Reggae Music. Party reggae, trap reggae whatever they wanna call it is fine but it falls within the scope of reggae music. Bobby Digital say so‼️

Nothing controversial about this statement. Dennis Brown was a singer and Bob Marley was a musician and a messenger; Bob was not known for his singing prowess--he was known for his love and positive messaging/panAfricanism.
Wayne Smith's Sleng Teng Riddim, Wayne and his friend brought it to Bobby Digital and Jammy's was away when they came back they built the riddim and Wayne Smith Sung his song on it.
That friend was Noel Davey who originally made Sleng Teng & it was Wayne Smith who helped Noel Davey FIND back the preset of which it is as a preset in the MT40 Casio Keyboard.

The great Bobby Digital...I remember going to buy records back in days...Every 10 record I buy, 9 was from Digital-B label...However, I disagree that Dennis Brown was the # 1 singer over Bob Marley...The 2 artist are in different music category, but Bob Marley got the Title as # 1 over Dennis Brown in my book. 99%" if not 100% of Bob Marley songs are originally songs that he wrote and sing. However, 99% of Dennis Brown songs are covers of other artist songs...To this day, I am still finding songs that I thought Dennis Brown sang originally, but it turns out the songs were originally sang by other artist...Too much to mention....Respect
god bless The Dennis B and Bob M are two different artist with different vocal style...Yuh can't really compare the two arist..I love Dennis B music, but I personally think Bob Marley is the better attist by far...Respect
There’s a difference between a great singer and an inspirational singer. Bob’s music was extremely potent but other singers had better voice than him including Dennis Brown. Some of the greatest voices are so numerous but some that readily come to mind are barrington Levy, garnet silk, bunny rugs, beres , Luciano, Sanchez, ras shilo, jah cure, thriller u, luckie d .... etc ...the list goes on!!!
There would be NO Reggaeton without Bobby Digital!! The man birthed an ENTIRE genre with “Dem Bow” riddim 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 RIP to the goat 🐐

Some of his records were poorly distributed. Many of which were only vinyl releases. Never to be 'officially' available on CD's or Cassettes.

I agree with Bobby Digital. Dancehall is the venue. All Jamaican music falls under the umbrella of Reggae Music. Party reggae, trap reggae whatever they wanna call it is fine but it falls within the scope of reggae music. Bobby Digital say so‼️

Alex Johnson You are absolutely correct....I got it wrong..
VINCE MATIC if u talking about singing he is a better vocalist than Bob Marley by far...Bob is not that a great singer compares to Dennis brown.
