I am Jamaican living in Canada. Thank you for showing such rich culture, worm people and beautiful country. It makes me proud to. My next trip is to Gambia.
You look absolutely stunning Bla xit family!!! I LOVE the dress and jewellery. It’s great how you are opening up and showing the African culture to the wider diasporan community. I love the fact that you totally embrace all aspects of African life. It actually shows how spiritually important it is to name a child. There is so much that we have missed, so many rites of passage that we diasporans have not had the privilege to be part of. Thanks so much for sharing this occasion with us. It’s also easy to be in an African country and still be cocooned in a bubble living along side yet separate to the African communities. This really is food for the soul.
Thank you Bla xit Family Sister Juliet and Husband Adrian you’re definitely contributing and up lifting The Gambia’s 🇬🇲 image in to the world,🌎 and that you making me home 🏡 sick now.by the way naming ceremony means presenting the new born baby to the extended family and the community at large. where by every body will contribute to the new born baby’s up bringing, his or her security, protection and education mannerism and norms culturally as African.and what the quiriot or singers are singing is to remind the community their role individual and collectively which can also interprete like the child, 🧒 they attended his or her naming ceremony if he or she good child is for the community and if he or she became bad child 🧒 also communities responsible for that’s what you’re experiencing as attendance as Gambians Mandinka,Wolof,Fula,Sarakule and jola thank You once again sister Juliet you can definitely dance as I hear somebody saying she can do it.
Juliet you look absolutely like a very bright shining light 💡. So colorful and gorgeous!!! Thanks for all your hard work! Thanks for the sacrifice of time that you and the family makes on a regular basis.
Beautiful, we have naming ceremonies here in America with my Gambian and Senegalese Family ( in-laws) and Friends. It's Beautiful but it's an all day event, can be overwhelming your first time but then you get used to it.
Sister Juliet you are more blessed with your family, your relationship with the Gambians is more than a passport with this relationship comes your African passport
Juliet it is obvious you're living your best and most enriching life in The Gambia compared to your "existing" in the divided Kingdom (DK/UK) there are thousands just existing in the DK living daily lives like robots.work,work,work,bills,bills,bills.

And all her projects are always huge and challenging. I also see all of these virtues in you. She is your lookalike. The resemblance is stunning!

Good morning Blaxit family all the way from Tanzania. I’m very proud of you Juliet & your husband and son too. I’m from the the UK norm there but I’m African full 100% both my parents are African and always instilled pride in my heritage. Watching your videos have cemented my feelings of coming back to mama Africa where all black people are originally from, your husband said something so true that the only March we should all be doing is to the airport leaving the West and returning to Africa to build it better than our ancestors did for the white people. Our ancestors were used and abused with no compensation now we their descendants should build Africa with all our might as it’s the only way to be truly free and proud of our ancestry.
I wish you could hear the way they are praising you in that song. They are really honouring you and that's how African and the Madingo's honour their guest. You take me to my culture. Thank you!!
LOVE AND GRATITUDE JULIET AND ADRIAN, THIS IS TRULY A WONDERFUL OCCASION. THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING US. HAPPINESS, PEACE AND SUCCESS BLA XIT FAMILY. LOVE AND LIGHT.
Juliet, it seems you've had a full day; and you look really nice, by the way. It must have been awesome to have met the great Usian Bolt. Also, I've noticed you are including Adrian in more of your videos now. In several past videos he and some other men were very informative when discussing our experience in the diaspora. They helped me realize how we all have suffered, whether in the UK or US. I'm glad that you include Adrian more in the videos and the two of you are doing a really good job. Thank you!
