I really like this build. I've used some of this as inspiration for my own castle build. I really love the fact we can invert railings now because it's given me a kind of medieval type of castle look.

ladders by far have the hardest snap points. I have learned that you can basically build a ladder cage and it will protect you from attack.

I've really gotten into this game in a big way especially the building side of things, however I really struggle with creativity so have relied heaving on following other build videos but struggle to follow some of the instructions, I literally have to sit with my laptop on and my tablet next to it so I can follow a bit easier but still struggle. However today I came across your video and you make things so much easier to follow and explain things in slow time and I really appreciate it. Thanks and I've just subscribed to you and will be following all of your subsequent videos.

Loved the video so much. Gave me so many ideas. And I took your idea with using paint. And I found a geometry pad and you can make the blueprint for the whole build even for triangles

Hey! The yellow and black objects are painted stone foundations.
Love the build tutorial but if on official, shouldn't you use large stone walls in place of regular walls to conserve structure limit?
That is def an option, depending on how high you want the wall.

Why alternate on the round tower? You can go the same pattern and get the same effect. Is it a cosmetic or for structual reasons?
When extending outward, you have to alternate each layer, other wise the tower becomes less round each layer you expand by using the same pattern.
Will you make a tutorial for that castle? It looks amazing!
I'm not sure I will do this one in particular, but I def have more castle builds on the way.

That probably wouldn't look terrible either.
@@DrB048 should be able to do a half wall with them and then alternate on the next level for the gaps.

The end castle was made using the "individual creations" shown in the video. The video is also titled How to build your "own" castle, so I am not quite sure what you expected ha...

Not enough detail for me. Use quarter ceilings and walls to adjust depth. Too basic. A for effort tho
Why didn’t you just put all this together putting in separate sections makes this confusing
This was meant to teach you how to build each portion of a castle so you are able to build your own. This wasn't a tutorial to show off how to build the showcase castle, but I included it to show that you could build a similar castle using the same techniques shown in the video.

Also there a 1x4 piece for doing walls that are 4 high to save you (and your viewers) some tedium
I only clicked on the video to make some smart-arse comment about the foolish man building his house on sand, but , the first 10 mins of this video just sucked the life out of me
Some will no doubt tell me i have no right to post a negative comment, or some crap, but people do not learn anything by always telling them positive things, and this guy's channel is too big, and he has been at it far too long, for him to be doing such boring and obvious builds
I say this not to insult him, but in the hope he tries to improve, maybe build on somewhere that isnt perfectly flat for a start, and let his creative juices just flow randomly into something wonderful and inspiring
Sorry you feel this way! This is a basic tutorial for beginner builders who want to learn how to build their own castle, so I had to cover the basic and obvious things.
