    I just want to know...Did you remove the diseased LEAVES after treating them...How old are your MANGO trees...Have you ever PRUNED them!

    • @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII
      @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Aloha! No need to remove the eaves, they will fall off when new growth comes in. They are 3-4 years old and no, have never pruned them.

    Does it work on seeds? My mango seed just developed a really bad fungus and I poured the mix on it. Please tell me as soon as you can because I don’t want to buy another mango

    I’m fairly certain could be wrong but ….Mango anthracnose is what the fungus is your dealing with Hope that helps .. loves to spore in wet humid environments .. lol go figure Aloha 🤙

    I’m sorry this threw me off you said you were going to use water baking soda oil and soap but when you made the solution you only did oil and baking soda I’m a bit confused

    • @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII
      @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We did use the soap just didnʻt get a shot of putting it in, but both the soap and oil are for the purpose of adhering to the leaves so if you use just one or the other it will be fine.

      @@EatAndBeEatenHAWAII so baking soda and olive oil would work? Or Thieves dish soap (all natural -- essential oils) and baking soda? Would this be useful for apple scab on a crabapple tree? Hoping so bc everyone else is recommending toxic crap which I won't use. Would kelp, humid acid, and other goodies build up the immune system so that fungus can't live there?

    • @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII
      @EatAndBeEatenHAWAII  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tarachambers7704 Not sure about a crabapple tree but olive oil, dish soap both work to create adhesion. The humidity is what brings the fungus but kelp and stuff would make a stronger tree in any case.
