It is common dal eaten by aam admi in India! But cooking method is new and minimalist. I like it that you add bulion. I have aromat powder but never thought of using it in dal. I want to try it with aromat powder. Good during illness because it is less spicy.

We bengalis cook masoor daal (red lentil) exactly like this but use coriander instead if parsley 😊
