Alistair is so impressive on so many levels. He is so articulate & humble & mature & it's clear that he works extremely hard at his trade, both physically & mentally. You can almost see the improvement unfolding in front if us every time that he returns to play for Canada. Our Canadian team just keeps looking better and better!
Absolutely fantastic interview. As a celtic man all my life, id love alistar to stay his whole career. Unless celtic Start to do really well in europe, i just believe hes going to be too good to not be in bidding wars Unless he develops a celtic obbsession, i feel celtic will cash in, hes in a position however that playing for celtic does not affect his international call ups so that could work in our favour
So proud of Alistair. The moment I saw him play for Nashville and came to Montreal I knew we got an amazing bargain. Was so happy to see him wear the Capt armband. Just amazing!!!
Just a tremendous guy in every possible way..credit to his nation and a privilege to have him at Celtic. If he wants it he could take over the captaincy one day, everyones unanimous on that. Trouble for us is, a guy as inquisitive and thoughtful as AJ, will find it very difficult not to experience the full tapestry of what he could do. Having said that I do think the magic isnt lost on him he said it himself when he witnessed the adulation the King of Kings received during the POTY awards.
davidyg11, Because he and One Soccer have already interviewed David a few times already & the 'Rapid Fire Q&A' that Jonathan David just did is not an interview. The purpose of those segments is to basically ask fun quick fire questions, so that the fans learn a variety of fun facts about the player.
AJ is one of those players you want to finish their career at your club. I don't think Celtic will be able to keep him that long though. He's one of those players that's clearly playing a level above most people in our league. He's bound for the Premier League one day.
He has been excellent at Celtic, and the real question is whether he will stay around long enough to be captain. I can see him getting a move in a couple of years. But he does seem to be loving it at Parkhead.
Who cares who is "captain"? Its a ridiculous ceremonial role and no one on the pitch should need a "leader" If you want to nominate one person to speak to the ref, fine, but far too much is made of the "captains role"

Unbelievable player, even better guy, love him so much🍀
Biggest complement I humbly could make about Alistair is....he fills his Celtic jersey . A credit to his country, and an asset to my beloved Hoops.

Love this guy. Will definitely be gutted if he ever decides to leave Celtic but can't see it happening. He's on course to be a Celtic legend!
Top lad. He's just gone from strength to strength and you love to see it!

He is incredible for Celtic and I hope he stays here for the rest of his career.
