Super happy to be of service! Its a great pack, also I recently broke the buckle on the pack scrambling and Patagonia replaced the broken piece free of charge. Their warranty is solid! Thanks!
Still don't know if i want this or the Mountain Hardwear Crag Wagon 45L. Both have what I want: clam shell with no excess straps. Patagonia looks nicer, but MH might be more useful
I was considering MH as well but went with this bad boy after some trial and error. I have really enjoyed the cragsmith, but I bought and returned a couple bags before I settled on it!
You are correct. It’s pretty large, but it’s very comfy and can hold a surprising amount! It’s 45 liters so I don’t think it’s meant to be a small pack, but depending on your needs maybe check out the 32L!
Deciding between this and the 32l for carry on and minimal travel. I question if the 45 would be too large to be a comfortable carry on?
The 45 would probably be too large for a carry on!
@@johnb7762 thanks
Super helpful! I am no climber, but live travel and adventures and think this will be my next pack!

I am 165cm and I think this will look gigantic on me lol. Hows it so far?
