Revenant is a "only expansion spec" so there is no way to have a "core build" for it, necro i think is the most "core build possible profession" there is in the game
Back when I leveled a Rev you wouldn't have access to herald until you did heart of thorns. Only Shiro, Ventari, Mallyx, and Jalis. Maybe you could consider that "core" but it feels incomplete using only those. Kind of like how elementalist core feels underwhelming now.
centaur stance / demon stance sage amulet / rune of the druid / relic of akeem shortbow(or staff)+ mace/axe sigils of absorption/sigils of transference Salvatation traitline: 3-3-1 Invocation traitline: 1-2-1 Corruption traitline: 2-1-3 This is an offensive support, with tons of condi output while same time tanky if played well. It has mobility bc leaps and swiftness. it is a teamfighter mostly, but it's versatile build. If you go double condi weapons, it's ofcourse more pressure and more condi combos. I would always open with shortbow for safety. this can be little harder to pull off effectiveness, but it's really good if you're up for the challenge. core rev is more then available atm in pvp, I main rev too
Mace/axe + staff is better then double condi weapons and more sustain also. Imo shortbow isn't that great, no piercing targets, projectile denial and no block or evasion attack skill like swords, greatsword and hammer or like mace weakness apply
This is a good sPvp aka not a real pvp build. It's a good dueling build. This is a terrible roaming build as all S teir roaming builds need huge mobility or you will get mobbed. After fully testing this build it is average at best this guy just isn't happy his vindi is getting countered.
The other elites are kind've redundant on this build, as we have our buttons we already want to press. The elite banner isn't a bad option for downs, but still...
You don't have a lot of fast multihit attacks in this build anyway. That extra 2 adrenaline while dancing around waiting for cooldowns can be the difference between getting your mace burst or not.
what year is this ? .. cuz last time I've checked condis havent been "slowly ticking down enemies" for at least 7 years, it was burst burst and even more burst
@@thogger5603 You can swap the last beast Master trait for taunt if you need more cc, but you basically end up being a walking cloud of death with the staff ambush into sword/smokescale burst setup. I've been getting nearly 31k out of the rotation with permanent fury and near permanent protection uptime

Dunno about the roaming part ... in wvw you dont have a dedicated confusion duration sigil and the best you can get is a global +10% condi duration so you lose a 15% duration which is alot. Maybe you could swap the sigil of confusion with a flat +5% condi damage. idk lol
@@spudzie9117 in pvp the build works becouse , you just go like " Me warrior, me go far" and u just bully the far point with EASY 1v1s and maybe 1v2s. In WvW things such as mobility are number 1. And this build has very bad mobility... In pvp in works cus of the way conquest works.
@@akhsdenlew1861 you can always change longbow for sword torch which is also a condi set and will give you the mobility, you can remove some of the rage utilities and also add more movement. There is no real impediment here

No boons, no mobility, without longbow u are full meele which is bad in WvW as well. The core version of celestial warrior is like.. 10 times better... Besides, relic of akeem can't carry u in WvW... the sustain that WvW players have compared to PvP is a lot higher. in pvp, 1 good F1 with mace in bers is pretty much duel done. In WvW it's irrelevant. There's a reason why u never find those bers in WvW and u find tons of them in pvp.
@@akhsdenlew1861 im not trying to defend the build, but i wonder what is your definition of bad... seems to me like your idea of a good warrior build is to try to copy what other classes do? perhaps you are thinking about transforming the warrior into willbender or thief or mesmer? Warrior does what warrior does, if you play low mobility you compensate with high sustain and punishing enemies that come close. That being said, if you really struggle you can bring the sword as i said and mix it with pistol for a couple more dashes, or shield/warhorn/2nd sword/dagger if you need more defense to be able to get time to go to a terrain of your preference for the fight, or if you want to punish the enemy worse for getting close to you mix it with 2nd mace for the stun/2nd axe for heavy damage/torch for condi aoe.... and if you really need that much more mobility bring greatsword and bullscharge or stomp. But if what you want is to have a warrior that bursts both melee and long range, that has full boons, full sustain, full mobility, full cc, teleports, stealths, portals all while giving quickness and alacrity at the same time... then sorry pal but this isnt that kind of game, here you have to make choices and come up with strategy to cover your weaknesses and exploit your strengths

Hmm ive been winning against this build with a scourge with staff and dagger dagger. Prob the ones i faced were newbies trying it out.
