Heli Max UH-60 Blackhawk RC Heli Review and Flight

- The Blackhawk RC helicopter has some amazing scale details packed into this micro bird such as having four main rotor blades, sliding side doors, lights, and down to the riveting on the bird itself.
This is also a collective pitch helicopter capable of doing some mild aerobatics such as loops, rolls and inverted hovering. Although the real Blackhawk can't perform these maneuvers you will have great fun with the 1/43th scale version from Heli-max.

This heli seems to be way more than what I was expecting. Brushless, lights, scale, and cp. I am so happy that the minis are going brushless.

For it's size there sure is a lot of detail. She seams to be very responsive and stable for such a small helicopter. Very realistic looking in the air and on the ground. Another great review. Keep up the good work as always.

I was in aviation in the army and flew in many Blackhawks and the detail is really amazing down to the rivets and the windshield wipers. It appears to a super stable platform yet very quick and maneuverable a lot like the real Blackhawk and its awesome to watch in action especially in the hands of a pilot as skilled as you are I've seen every video of yours and some multiple time and you've always found a way to amaze me. thanks

That is a beautiful helicopter! I like the attention to detail on the fuselage, not many companies take the time to do that. You see so many products out that costs hundreds of dollars and fly well, yet look incredibly cheap. It also seemed like it was pretty nimble and fast, yet stable at the same time. Good morning SIR, my name is Obe Gonzalez, I'm a Soldier stationed at Fort Bragg NC. I have been a rc fan for years, but not been able to get to much into the hobbie due to multy deployments. I do have lots of time inside a Black Hawk, been transported all over Afghanistan in them. I'm loving the look and the handling of this heli. I ordered a small co-axel Huey heli for my 6yr old, and he loved it. I might look into this heli for me. Keep up all the great job.

Hi Eric,
I flew many missions on The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk in the early 80's. Sikorsky submitted the S-70 design for the US Army's Utility Tactical Transport Aircraft System competition in 1972. The Army designated the prototype as the YUH-60A and selected the Black Hawk as the winner of the program in 1976. The UH-60A entered service with the U.S. Army in 1979, to replace the Bell UH-1 Iroquois as the Army's tactical transport helicopter. I miss it!

Oh, I forgot to add that back in 1983/84 I was a U.S. Army WO and flew one of these. I loved it and for such a small little scale model it really does have some amazing scale realism especially for an actual flying model

I was happy to meet you and Candy at SEFF this year. You both put out a great show we all enjoy, and find very informative. With your "down to earth" way you make these reviews feel like a couple of guys getting together and talking about their hobby and sharing info. I think some of your best shows have been when you had a co-host along.
As for the Blackhawk review: As good as we always expect. I do wonder though, how this copter compares performance wise to other Helimax helicopters?

Hey Eric! Very cool helicopter! so much detail in such a small thing and the brushless motor is a nice added touch. Love the channel and what you have offered but i was curious if you could do some more component reviews. I mean, reviews on your favorite motors and batteries and servos that you have found very useful! Also, some long term reviews would be nice and letting us know what broke first and such! again love the channel for the info/entertainment value!

Congrats on the 100th review, the heli was awesome very scale looking.
As always, a great video. (I think Candy needs to produce a "How To" because her work behind the camera is the best OnLine!) This chopper would fit right in with my love for military aircraft, going back to my UH-1B days in Vietnam.

The Blackhawk has a beautiful scale look, and the flight seems very realistic. Eric, I think it would be good advise that an R/C pilot already have some previous helicopter experience with a co-axial or even a beginner quad-copter before stepping up to this level. Time on a flight simulator would be a huge plus as well. Anyone would be proud to own this model however to fly it as well as the video shows takes some diligent practice and experience. A worthwhile goal for this hobby. Happy Flying!

Love the Detail looks like the real thing ! I was fortunate that i actually got to fly in one of these. Looks like it flys really nice but was wondering how durable it was and if there are spare parts available? Seems to handle the wind rather nicely and very stable. I'm impressed with the 4 bladed rotor head nice scale look also no micro motor on tale rotor. Its a true scale black hawk. Nice review and I was surprise how fast she is very cool keep up the good work brother

Wow,that helicopter performed well as i expected.I flew helicopters for a few years and that one is probably suitable in my level.I also love to win the p-38 lightning due to its great performance and battery life.When i fly my remote control helicopters,battery life is what matters to me.Keep up the great work!

Hi Eric I'm only 13 and have been in the hobby for two years and have been lucky enough to find your vids they help me decide on what planes to get in the futer even though I never did get and of the planes you review because I have to buy all planes so that's why I only have two planes and I love what you can do with the planes

I love the detail of that helicopter it really shows how the RC world has grown in detail and realistic features.Also got say that it looks like it fly's very smooth. or maybe it just your great flying skill. I currently have an hobby-zone super cub lp and im interested in expanding my collection. that's why i like your channel because you have so many detailed reviews on many rc planes
