Bro casually dropped the best explanation/tutorial for drawing in perspective on youtube like it was nothing. Well done, guys! Proko should be taking notes...
Proko is good yo, don't forget he was what we had for art channels that actually explain what's what for free. I'm willing to defend them 😤 he taught me the Loomis method that helped me draw during my Marvel phase 😤🗿
30 and disappointed with my art goals, jadokar and journalling have helped me get out of this multiyear funk and get back to my fundamentals and reminding me to "nOt sToP hErE" thank you guys
I don't draw. I can't draw. But I've been watching your videos long enough that I'm starting to wonder... Hey... Why should I stop here? Shouldn't I grab a pencil and start again?
Well, first, you need to get rid of all distractions, that means music and TV. Get only one reference for the day, study it with youtube, then when you think you memorized the photo draw it without reference understand you mistakes and then use youtube to get better also 20 minutes drawing 5 minutes break do that to stop your self from getting over stressed
@Prrojiya17 Well Best thing for you to do is watch people like Draw Like A Sir he will give you alot of info and if you want to get better fast draw real people and use the lomis method you thank me in a week or 2 also advance tip Pracitce circle square and triangle then learn how to do it in 3d this will help you with perspective and drawing structure like building As long as you are willing to draw and stick to it you will be drawing animations in 8 month or 14 month time sound long but time flys
@ Jesus, knowing the time had come, entered the Garden of Gethsemane to pray and plead with the Father that, if there was any other way for this work to be done, that the cup of suffering that He was facing would pass from Him. Jesus knew it couldn’t, so, in extreme stress, Jesus’ capillaries burst and He began to sweat blood. Jesus later was betrayed with a kiss, captured by the Jews, beaten badly, and then flogged. The Jewish customs commanded 39 lashes with the whip, which had multiple ends with metal, bone, and rocks in to cause extreme damage. Jesus, who was by now naked, beaten, and flogged nearly to death, had to carry a 100 pound part of His cross for about 1/3 mile until He couldn’t any longer, then Simon of Cyrene carried it the rest of the way. Jesus was then nailed to the cross through a massive nerve in His wrist and nerves in His feet, causing instant shock-like pains, then the cross was lifted vertically, followed by a large drop into the hole dug for it, causing massive pain. By now, Christ has experienced almost the full Roman crucifixion. As time passes on and the sky becomes dark with clouds, Jesus’ body begins to physically break down, acid/serum start to fill His arteries and clog up the blood flow, and He is exhausted from trying to breathe by pushing on the nails. When the time came for Jesus to die, He cried out asking God to forgive His accusers because they do not know what they have done, then He declares that it is finished, that sin has been dealt with, and that His time of suffering is over, and then He bows His head and willingly gives up His spirit. Jesus died before they broke His legs, had His side thrusted with a spear, releasing water and blood, and nailed through His hands and feet, fulfilling at least 3 specific prophecies written 600-1000+ years before He was born, including one that spoke of crucifixion around 1000 years before it was invented.

Funnily, at @1:37 the camera isn't actually moving closer and further to the rock/cube. Instead they used a trick with the lens by simply changing the lens's focal length lol. This is a technical trick in photography that is used to imitate how your eye would view a scene at a specific distance.
Really like your approach with this video! From the topic to the execution. And I think this explains things really well, like a extension of what we learned from the shorts. Simply MAGIC
I’ve been slowly learning perspective for the last year or two and there were a few things that I could find NO entry-level videos explaining! It was so frustrating! This video explained all of them.
i love this perspective tutorial! really helped me understand some concepts i had questions about, like how lines of a cube looks like they converge. thanks!
Its so satisfying to see an explanation of a prespective with animation on paper, just an amazing proof that you don't use a tool on a computer to help with rotating and stuff... Such a great skill and great explanation
I noticed you use a 2mm mech lead!!! I switched to them earlier this year because the tip is identical to a wood pencil but I don’t feel bad for “wasting” my nice pencils every time I sharpen them lol! And I like the weight of mechanical pencils too. I got a rotring pro 2.0 in 2mm and I’m so happy with it. The brass weight is amazing! Also thank you for suffusing your personality into these, I honestly have trouble completing other people’s tutorials because they’re so boring to listen to 😂
I love your shorts, specifically the kne featuring Lucipus of Miletus. I am glad you are experimenting with longer form videos, and would love to see more insight from you.
This video was great! Thanks! When I finished watching it, it just occurred to me that I’d love to see some videos of what knowledge and skills you feel is gatekept as an artist and/or in the artistic community. Thanks!

As long as you never stop you’ll always get better!!!
An art journal is key in my opinion. Draw for yourself, write, be messy, and do it everyday. It's helped me improve a ton.
