The continuing saga of Rob and his mowers.Sorry to hear things gone wrong again. One day you will make a video of a brand new shiny mower arriving, hope that day comes sooner than later. Had a chuckle reminded me of the time we had 3 cars on the place and truck and motorbike, not one bloody thing would start.Had to cancel an appointment. We were a bit remote so had to wait days for some help. Can laugh now but not funny at the time. All the best to you both
🤣 I have thought about dipping into the emergency fund for one but I also enjoy learning on the hop. I remember a similar situation as a kid. The tractor & kids motorbike were the only vehicles that were running. Bit of a challenge for mum to get to work an hours drive away on either of them. Had to wait for dad to get back from work in QLD to fix mums old Citroen DS. 🤣 Cheers Kerry.
I'm hoping this one will last a few more years once we sort out the starter system. The linkages, deck & drive system, all look to be in OK nick. 🤞 Cheers Jakob.
I didn't realize the ring gear on your mower was plastic. Don't forget to label your saved parts and put them in a bag/box. I like to use a zip lock bag with a note inside with the small parts. For larger parts, I stick green frog tape on and use a Sharpie to write on it.
Cheers Ron. I have a draw already for the parts of the various small engines & tools. 👍😉 Is good to finally have a shed where I can try to keep everything in it's own spot. Hope all's well with you mate.
hi Rob, i trained my old chooks, they know what "get down means" ( to get off the back steps ) and 2 knocks on the door means move so i can open the door.
Chicky has become very attached to us. She jumped in between my mum and a very excited Jack to defend her when she first arrived.😅 Hope all's well with you & yours Janis.
Need to find a friend like myself. Sadly I'm in Canada, but I'm the lawnmower guy in my community. Got a dozen or so and loads of parts. Strange hobby to have but fun.
There's about a 1½mm grove cut into it H so not sure. I have it aside as a "Just In Case" unit so might suss it out & see when I get some time. Hope you folks are doing well mate.
@ cheers mate there drain type so hopefully they will work . I am gonna do one of your tricks on the bottom of the buckets to create the tapor of the drain with heat . Fingers crossed that they seal enough.
@ rob if you got any big ones in the uni seal I am keen and if you got a system or anything left in Ipswich, let me know. I’m only at the Gold Coast. I conduct across Ipswich and meet you.
Ahrrrg. Plastic - I hate it. There's two reasons why manufacturers use it. ! It's cheap. 2 They can fleece you for spare parts - so it's cheaper to buy entire starter moter than a replacement drive cog? - unbelievable. Keep going and you'll get there. Nice bookcase.

I have a love-hate relationship with my Greenfield. It's generally easy to repair, but it also loves to break down.

Good Job Kiddos!
Cheers DD.
Have a top one mate.

Hi Rob, There is always something that needs fixed. Metal gears are better than the plastic ones. Book shelf looks good 😀stay well.
Thanks Garry. B also recovered a massage table while on her holidays. Turned out really well I think.
GOOD DAY
Hey mate. Hope all's well with you. 👍

Impressive!🐔
😅 I'd have no problems with them being in the house (grew up with a "house sheep"😅) if we could just toilet train her.
Hope all's well with you mate.
Great update. We have chooks who believe they're meant to be indoor pets too! 😂

I'm actually thinking about buying some cheap ones to use as parts. These Greenfields are very popular over here. Cheers mate & have a top one.
I do I my own shade treein. And home project to 🎉👍🤘.Great job.
Cheers Mate. 😁👍
Good work. Sometimes tuning old machinery & replace damaged parts is all it takes.🧰
Luckily they are still readily available Anna. The tractor on the other hand..... 🤔😅
Hope all's well with you.
I had 2 screws in the same tyre on Friday 🤣 cheaper to plug them myself
😅 When it rains, it pours it seems. I need to get some plugs. The ones I inherited from dad have dried up & crumbled.
Cheers mate.
Rob the old bendix spring problem
Can you polish that starter shaft with some wet and dry sandpaper?

I dont have anything to add... so ill just comment for the algorithms
🤣 Thanks mate. Muchly appreciated. 👍👍
ROB ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN GET 3 in bulkheads from that don’t cost an arm and a leg and a bucket of blood
Sorry I missed this mate. What size are you chasing?
@ all good mate got a crate full 40mm on market place couldn’t believe my luck 100 of $50
I would of liked 90mm . Just making a new rdwc system
@@Aussie-des420 Nice score Des. Glad you found something.

Oh my god everything is plastic no wonder nothing is lasting, I would have thought those parts would have been metal!
You would think they would be. I didn't realise until I swapped over the first starter gear.
Cheers Nicole.
New channel idea... Rob bob's mowerponics?... Aquamowers? I'm still working on the name but it'll be great.
🤣 Cheers Link.

It surprised me too Philip. The starter cam in a proper foam lined box as well & wasn't a cheap knock off.
