This was a well fought game by both teams ! That fast double yellow was for the initial careless challenge , then player loses temper and turns around in front of me and yells foul and abusive language to the Keeper. So after reviewing this, I actually didn't need to display the 2nd yellow, just a direct Red card. Keeper was also issued a YC for Unsporting Conduct, but not sure why I displayed it twice ! haha
careless = regular foul reckless = yellow card excessive force = red card The initial foul was reckless and worthy of a yellow card. What to you tell the league? Because if it's a second yellow versus a straight red the suspension might differ.
One thing I’ve noticed about the American game especially in this age group is that the referees are way too quick on the whistle. They don’t let the game flow at all
Common in high school. The games tend to get out of hand really quickly. Its either you let it go and lose control, or be whistle happy. Rare occasion where you can let the game flow and it not get chippy and out of control. If you watch club play, they typically allow play more as you get to higher levels.
Local referees should know which teams and what games to let "flow" and when to set the tone for the game. This game was getting a bit physical and the temperature was rising fast. So we had to bring it down :)
So you’d rather them not give fouls in the defending half where just because they still have the ball it’s considered advantage? No, because it doesn’t actually give the defending team the “advantage”. In many of these cases especially since both teams are pretty low level, the chance for a successful advantage is much lower than high level, so more fouls are called right away rather than letting play develop
@ bro looking at your profile pic not only do you look garbage, you also look 20 pounds too heavy to be playing 😂😂 you have 0 percent chance of going pro little boi
Ms Rosales, I believe this was the San Diego Jewish Academy not La Jolla High for the game back on Dec 4th according to our schedule for the Patriot Cup Holiday Tournament in case you want to change the Title :)
I thought this game was well reffed. White 10 definitely deserved that red. And he’s wearing the captain’s armband? Yeesh. 10 black was flirting with a second yellow too but never crossed the line. Ref kept good control, having firm words with the players. Evenly matched game… but might have been different if it was 11v11.
l hate players like #10 on white. As the 10 you need to be the leader that number carries meaning. Don’t just charging into people like hooligans and complaining that the red card “wasnt fair” you decided to do that and you fucked up. Coaches should bench players like him
La jolla trash lol 11vs 10 the whole game and couldn't be dangerous at all😂 and #10 black team, boy is trash has agility and speed but can't play at all😂

@ you’re given the skill level of the refs that match your skill level so you’re probably equally as bad:)

Oh really? On the schedule that was given to me and on the patriots cup schedule it says La Jolla. This isn’t the first time I mess up a teams name😂
Thank you for letting me know.
No worries! Come say hi next time ! I didn't see you 😁
I will next time hah. I also just got confirmation it is La Jolla high.
@RosalesFilmss sounds good, it showed The Jewish Academy on ours . But either way, great job as usual?
