    these are selfbuilt.
    you cant simply buy it in a store.
    used parts are mostly written in the title.
    you dont learn to fly them in a week. it takes months/years.
    researching is a constant part of this hobby.

      It would be faster with standard motors and props. Watch some of the other videos on this channel, this isn't even that fast. EDF's are just extra weight for no gain, bigger motors to carry it all and less flight time. There is a reason almost no one does it anymore.

If we can ever build a lite power generation unit for the electric motors then we got something for human scale.

    Pretty cool project and it's amazing how you can tell the quad orientation .I will crash it in a sec. Thanks for sharing !

    I actually have one of these type of drones, it goes fast straight but it sticks trying to make a turn, always throttle down a little before making the turn and it'll glide around a turn.

    Finally! I was searching for years the CW and CCW EDFs, nice copter and video!

    • @Unmannedair
      @Unmannedair 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Clockwise and counterclockwise EDFs are the same thing. You just switched two wires to reverse the direction of rotation. Then replace the blade for the correct spin. Finding the blades is the hard part, but it's not so hard to create custom blades either.

    • @Iskenderus
      @Iskenderus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Unmannedair I know, but I was not able to find with that blades

    • @imazman
      @imazman 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, there can be differences between CW and CCW motors...and that is the direction of the threads for the blade attachment. They will spin such that the nut will not loosen itself.

    Least efficient quad ever but the most awesome. 👏 Great flying brilliant execution.

    • @cadsonmikael9119
      @cadsonmikael9119 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually it depends really. If you intend to travel a long way, this is most likely far more efficient than regular quads. If we could add a tiny wing for lift in there I bet we have a very potent setup.

    What happens if you lose track of it?, no camera right so you won't have a clue where it is. Does it still have some sort of auto home feature like camera drones?

    • @quadmovr
      @quadmovr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      its flown fully manual, no auto rth or similar. if i loose track about its orientation it will crash. like with any other normal rc plane.
