LCN Love your videos! I spend a lot of time watching your videos, and I am hopefully learning how we will need to care for my new lawn. In the next few weeks we are installing 40 pallets of empire zoysia. should we treat the bare ground after cutting out the old sod with this lawnifi product? I am hoping you will say “NO” since we have such a large area, but I want to do it properly. If so I am estimating at least 6 starter kits. Are there other products that you recommend? Thanks for the great content. I have a question regarding prep for empire zoysia installation. Should I put down any of the biostimulant products on the bare dirt before sod goes down? I have microgreen, rgs, humic12 and air8. If so, which one(s) and how much? I’m sodding an area of about 800 sq feet in my backyard. This area gets good sun throughout the day. Thanks
We installed Jamur Zoysia in our coastal SC lawn (zone 8b) 5 1/2 weeks ago. We didn't put down anything because we were concerned with stimulating new growth that would be harmed/killed by the upcoming cold (relative cold, I realize that our cold is not the same cold as in other areas of the US). We've watered regularly (although not as regularly as you indicated) and the new sod has rooted but has started to go dormant (we've had several hard frosts already). Do you think I should put down something to stimulate root growth or is it too late and I should wait til spring?
I'm in zone 9 and am really excited about the Empire zoysia. I'm wanting plugs for backyard knowing it will take 2-4 years for complete fill-in. Keep it coming LCN!
Man, I miss sitting out in my backyard, drinking a beer while smoking a rack of ribs and staring at a lush, green lawn. Now, it’s snow covered and freezing temperatures. Spring can’t get here fast enough.

Something seems to weird about your green screen thing, your head is sometimes smearing all over the place. Is that your softwares problem or google youtube compression? Its a but small, but might also be that you are standing too near to the screen so that the green reflects into your hair. Optimal setup is to stand further away and maybe have you illuminated from behind/sides with a neutral light so that the green doesn't bleed into you and makes you partially transparent. And as always I think the music is too loud compared to you, but thats probably a taste thing for a lot of youtubers, it might not matter to native speakers as much as it does to non native speakers.

How come warm season sod seems always to be stacked flat like mats and cool season sod rolled?

I agree, I like the voice over. The green screen has some echo that sounds less personal. But the footage seemed better with the voice over also.
