Filipinas are no different than most women around the world. Money comes before everything else. There is an old saying:
"A man loves a woman forever. A woman loves a man until he runs out of resources." So true.
Love is a feeling, you don't learn a feeling, you develop it. You don't learn to love someone, you learn to tolerate them, you develop the feeling of love. I was impressed with Nicole as well, she speaks English really well, and continuing to speak it as much as possible will help. Usually the ones saying their studying to be English teachers don't speak in English 🤣 "The country has a lot of opportunities?" But you see in so many interviews that there aren't enough jobs for people, and the jobs don't pay as much.

I'm planning to retire there in the Philippines next year. I really enjoy your videos, but I'd like to see more videos with interviews of more mature woman. Not all foreigners are interested in very young woman.

Love is a fluctating emotion.
REAL love can grow, if both have good personality, compatible and a good mindset.
In Christianity and Islam you are not supposed to actually do a lot of dating etc before marriage. So ofc you are not supposed to love someone before marriage.
You should analyze based on their personality, values, compatibility, etc. Then REAL love can grow:)
Excellent point. It's what's flipped upsidedown in America/The West now. EVERYthing is inverted in the West (and inversion is Satanism). Arranged marriages were common pre-1960s. While my marriage wasn't "arranged" - we met on Tinder, we barely knew each other. We've been through a lot (of travelling) since which has bonded us stronger. We've been to some amazing places together and learned more about each other. I knew she was traditional which is why I pulled the trigger on marriage so quick. You just know. I have ZERO attraction to my own countrywomen these days. They're all putting being a "professional" first (before marriage). That is so ugly to me.
All the Filipinas I talk to on dating apps are after money. I'm sure though that good ones exist.
Best to meet them in person rather than dating apps. OR, someone you know and trust, maybe a foreigner living in the Philippines may know a great lady looking for something serious. Most dating apps are cesspools.

The young lady who ran away has been single since birth because she won't stand still and give a guy a chance to introduce himself. She's like the roadrunner from the cartoons.
Its normal here that kind of age of a woman and still single never experienced to have bf because they focus on their study.

That was interesting! When you look at history,,the prevalence of love in relationships is purely a modern concept. Even in the U.S.,,it wasnt until the post WWI generations that love was the basis for marriage commonly. Look at all the societies in the world that have arranged marriage. I think there are an abundance of marriages based on infatuation,,not necessarily love. But some do turn into love. The percentage of people that have arranged marriage,,marriage of convenience, marriage based on financial circumstances or some other reason is way,way higher than love based marriage. Love is also mostly a western concept. I've heard that Filipina women tend to say I love you too quickly,,and that isnt true love,,its infatuation. Love take time. I do believe in love,,but I cant afford international travel to find love,,or at least to find someone there is the possibility of love with. This was a great subject Lorie! Thanks

Congratulations. I'm looking for 1 minute for love first before money or anything like that. I think your relationship will be based on love or how you feel. For someone. Not on what you can give them if you start out like that. Then that's what it's all gonna be about. It's what can you buy me? What can you get me? I don't want that. I want to be based on love and get to know each other and communication. I know you need money to survive.I know that but it should not be about money At the beginning.
I want a woman that really loves me. And I really love her and then we get a chance to grow together and know each other really good.

Seems like Lorie is describing an arranged marriage? As long as he provides for the family, and doesn't mistreat her, IMO she will learn to love her husband and their many children. As long as she remains loyal only to her husband their marriage will work.
Marrying someone to have a better life is just stupid. I'm not surprised that (most of) these women agree. Sexual attraction is what keeps a couple together over time, and you can not fake sexual attraction... it either exists or it doesn't.

Don’t sweat it guys. Just because a Filipina says she wouldn’t marry a man unless she loves him doesn’t mean she can’t fall in love with you. Many Filipinas are very loving.
To marry someone you have to love the person that you’re with it’s a note it’s another it’s in evitable that you love someone❤😍💕 prefer to marry someone with all my heart and be their soulmate

If the ladies who say 'no' were to actually experience the benefits of financial security, a very good income, property and a decent life they would not be so quick to say 'no'. My wife and I are only 11 years apart in age. We met and had a child together but I wouldn't say we had a loving relationship. I get left alone with my books and music while she lives a life she never could have dreamed of were it not for me. There is very little overlap in our lives but it suits us both.

If they would marry someone for a better life they wouldn't STAY married to them for life....or.....they'd agree to a "lifelong commitment" just as easily. How soon the smile fades when the cameras flash is out of sight, for some. How disappointing. 😂
Reality is that out of 100% most Filipino women don’t really marry for love, Only 5% do marry for love.
Yeah the woman married to the foreigner but if they married to the locals 99% its because of love.
