It sounds like what they're using for the "Hercules system" is nothing more than twin wall polycarbonate greenhouse sheets which you can buy online all day long on Amazon and from greenhouse supply sites. I would price that material from Amazon and compare it to what this guy is offering you for materials cost. I'll say this much though. If you want long sheets to uncomplicate your particular installation you might find some difficulty in getting them at any thickness larger than 6mm, which might be ok for a greenhouse but is thinner than pros recommend for a pergola. Those pros will recommend a minimum of 10mm material for a pergola.
@@CoverYourPergola Hi my name is Marc. I would like to know if you have the Hercules in a clear version. I am trying to cover a greenhouse in the south, and I need the panels to bring in a lot of light in the winter for the plants. Covering a greenhouse with 2 sides of 14x28
Just curious, why did you go with a rectangular cell extrusion for your Hercules series rather than a hexagonal honeycomb-esque infill structure? That would have been the theoretically highest strength-to-weight ratio for the product. Your impact tests with the rectangular cells show clear signs of localized buckling that propagate along the seams. Honeycombs resist that kind of failure mode. Looking around online, it seems that there are other distributors who sell just that, but I haven't seen any designs in bronze tint yet. Maybe think about that for a third line of products? Call it Zeus or something? 😅
10 to 1 says these guys are simply buying twin wall polycarb greenhouse sheeting and marking it up while calling it they're "Hercules" system. I certainly don't think this company is a manufacturer of plastics. I'd shop online for prices on twin wall polycarb first so I'd know how much they are marking up the material cost.
I’m trying to find out if I can buy these locally(35 miles north of Orlando). Looking at the Apollo system. Also, where can I find prices for the products?
Super easy to add! Most existing pergolas don't have slopes so we add shims before installing the cover to give it a slope which is necessary for proper drainage. If you'd like a quote, visit www.coveryourpergola.com & a rep will reach out!
I've watched this over and over, I still can't see any difference between the "2 wall and 4 wall" They both look like 1/4" greenhouse glass to me. With virtually no effort in to showing the difference between the two, I assume it's a marketing gimmick. The main difference seems to be the standing seam and attachment system and my guess is a HUGE cost difference.

Not being able to find a price on the website usually means "Expensive AF."

Hail won’t be an issue for either system
You didn't mention the difference in pricing. Don't you think that would be a significant factor when comparing products?
