This should be required viewing for all Gator fans, some things you see on socials are outlandish. This puts so much in perspective. Thank you so much!!!
Why, you could have broke this down after you WATCHED the entire game, go to you basement, go over each play reel by reel. Cmon Man lol
Preciate you!
Like people saying we were getting no pressure we definitely were
this really one of the best gator channels out there
Preciate you!
Glad to have you guys back!
Great to be back!
Been waiting for your breakdown! Thank you
Love this channel so much knowledge on the game !!!!
🙏
Been looking for this since I saw y’all drop clips on X. Welcome back
Great to be back!
On the last play Searcy couldn't get outside because he was being held.
I forgot this game was played. I have successfully put Gator football out of my mind. I still enjoy seeing your breakdown because I learn fine points of the game here.
Preciate it!
It's here!
This is so good. Would love to meet you at the UCF game, but will not be in Gainesville.
Next time!
Nothing makes me happier than knowing a FL fan had to go through this game many times, with SLOW MO, to get his breakdown together
Glad that I could bring you max happiness, that is no small achievement.
Oh how we have been waiting for this😊
🙏
thanks for the video
You are most welcome!
This is the one I’ve been waiting for!!
🙏
I know this has been asked. But are the coaches watching this channel?? Good Lord someone Tag them all.
☺️ Honored by your words.
Cam Ward was great
On the play where the guys got thrown to the ground by Miami TE Arroyo, it wasn't Bryce Thornton (#18), it was LB RJ Moten (#16). I don't think Thornton played in the game but RJ Moten played for 26 snaps.
14:26 I want to point out the difference here between Cam and Mertz. Cam looks calm, cool, and collected even in the face of 3 defenders bearing down on him. He doesn't panic. Mertz looked lost and confused for most of this game, even when not under immediate pressure.
What makes this so frustrating is that the way mertz was acting should’ve been how Cam was in a hostile environment. If Mertz can’t handle a home game against number 19, then I’m afraid what’ll happen on the road against teams like Texas
Was legit looking for this like two hours ago lol 😅
Good timing!
I've been looking for 2 days😂😂😂
Looking at this breakdown, I think our defense wasn't necessary bad its just we got no pressure on ward that whole game. I think later on in the game our secondary got tired and thats why Ward started dotting up in the middle of the field. Sometimes I wonder if these exotic defense of looks are hard to understand for younger players like castell?
Castell has a habit of playing too safe on the backend, imo .
@@TheGatorNationFootballPodcast Very much agree. Has so much potential, however, he is so passive back there.
If we can steal Lane Kiffin from Ole Miss, what do you think?
🙏
Great breakdown per usual. Just frustrating to see the same mistakes being made consistently for 3 straight years.
There were some bright spots on an individual level but man that game was hard to watch for the defense as a whole
I think our defense played better than last year but still not disiplined. I think they have been taught how to do it right, but the staff is not being assertive in their communication. They are probably afraid players will transfer if you yell at them. Like a child calling DCF if you punish them.
100% I’m ready to get hurt again
If Billy get fired what top 3 coaches would you go for?
I will address that when it happens. At the top of the list for me is someone who utilizes an aggressive passing offense.
@@TheGatorNationFootballPodcast LANE TRAIN!
Cam ward looked too comfortable
Dang Castell looked terrible on film against Miami
Bryce did not play the wrong guy.
I’m Hurricane fan I enjoy your break down very informative even for the win team, this excellent work.
Thank you very much for your kind words!
Love the content, unfortunately I can only stomach 30 minutes at a time.
Billy taggart or willie Napier 😆 🤣
🙈
Its hard to see this defense being so non instructive and understand what the opposition is trying to accomplish DE not playing down hill or containing the players IQ shows they dont do extra film work outside of practice
Mertz missed two td’s and the defense had two bad roughing the passer penalties that turned into td’s. this was an absolute failure on all levels in terms of bad offensive play design and bad execution by the players. players year 2 in the system keep regressing. thats not good!!
Ward had a great game, for sure. I think Slackman played lights out for the Gators, and was impressed with the teamwork between Miami and their refs in not calling any of the ... dunno, dozen? ... holds that he somehow managed to escape. But the secondary just makes the same mistakes over and over. Hopefully the SEC refs will be a little more fair with calling holding so that our defensive line can get some traction over the next couple of games and help out the daisy gazers in the back end.
Lagway got him, dude caught the ball on his @$$ and you trying to blame Lagway. HAHAHAHAHA guys you better stop listening to these "Experts" HAHAHAHAHA Breaking down a GT Counter, has nothing to do with why the ball was intercepted.
