And like you said - for router - I feel they do this so that they can do a lot of signal manipulation (all the throttling etc - by identifying IP allocated, dhcp used, dns used etc) Thanks for sharing. Bridge mode in Jio router will only work if the orher router has the Ethernet Vlan capabilities. By default all the LAN ports are added to Vlan 1. So first remove the port which you want to use from the Vlan 1 group and then configure that port with a different Vlan id and same.should be configured on the other router with same vlan id.

This method works, I have same jio fiber and same TP Link router, but once jio internet disconnect then WDS fail to connect with jio router, then i manually nees to follow process by connecting LAN cable to TP Link router, please show me the way to connect to TP link and login router from mobile

Thank you for the informative tutorial. My Jio router is connected to my PC via a LAN cable and is working fine. However, in parts of the house there is very poor connectivity. I also have an old TPLink router which I can place elsewhere in my house. Does it have to remain connected to the PC after it has been configured like what you have done? Or can I remove the LAN cable from the TPLink to the PC after setting it up?

Hello Som Tips. I have the same TP Link Router MR3220 and the New JIO Fiber Router. I want to use the TP Link router as a range extender in a different room. I don't have scope of doing it by using LAN cables, as shown in this video. Can you show me how to do it by WDS mode enabling. Seeing other videos, I have tried lot of times but it is not working. Do I need to make any changes to in the JIO Router settings. Since you have the same equipment, I believe you can solve the issue. Please guide me.

When u set router IP , it should be next to jio IP address eg here soms tip jio IP is 192.168.77.1 so he put his tp link IP to 192.168.77.2 , even though range of IP is many it's better to put like this , I got stuck and was unable to connect when I just put his IP 192.168.77.2 (stupid me ) but after I changed it , it's all working perfectly
