I have a Cuisinart 14 inch Stainless Steel Wok and I absolutely love! It is a flat bottom wok/stir-fry pan that is amazing. It can be used to cook so many different things besides just stir-fry. I bought it because Tak from the "Wok With Tak" TH-cam channel recommended it. If I could only have one stainless steel pan in my entire kitchen it would be that one!! Thank you for sharing your awesome food with everyone. ❤
Thank you guys so much y'all are so encouraging......I use your recipes especially now that prices are going up and I'm on disability which is really restricting......y'all are a great resource.....thank God n Bless you n your family.....
Flo is so practical in her cooking. She makes it look so easy and simple just what I needed. The food is so tasty, seasoned well, healthy even my grand kids eat them which says a lot since kids are so picky! Thanks Flo for sharing delish and healthy yummy food!❤️🙏🌻
❤ OH my goodness Flo my mouth is really watering. I can hardly wait to try these recipes 😊thank you for all you share, I love your channel and enjoy hearing your cats, watching you cook and prepare with ease and then the Dude's taste test and input.
👍I've got rid or my large wok as they simply don't work well on electric cookers! [you're basically steaming] If your using stock add a bit less water!
Flo, I love your recipes, they are all so good!!! Thank you!!! However, I don’t think using plastic bags in cooking is healthy though. You can always steam your hamburgers on a ceramic plate in the wok though...
Another Great Video ! My Wife loves it when I use your recipes. What is the name of the video from a couple of weeks back in regards to Sauces/Condiments ?
I’m not sure which one you mean. I’m actually due to do another basic sauces video but here is one from 2 years ago: Main ASIAN SAUCES - Cooking Basics th-cam.com/video/SxuD6N-ZqX0/w-d-xo.html
Happy to see this video today, Flo. I just had more oral surgery and didn't prepare my soft foods beforehand. I'm wondering how ground beef congee would be? And regarding inflation, pre-pandemic a 60 count box of eggs at Walmart used to be just over $6. Yesterday I saw it there for nearly $23. Yikes, eggs used to reliably be a good budget choice for a meal at any time of day. I'll be rethinking that now. When I can chew again I'll be trying these dishes, they all look amazing. Thank you Flo and Dude.
Hi Molly! I’m sorry about the oral surgery. No fun! I find ground beef to be a bit hard to chew but ground pork would be softer. My favourite congee is actually fish. That would be good after oral surgery. Add some ginger for healing properties and to take away any fishiness. You can make the congee with chicken broth for extra flavour. Hope you recover quickly!
I only keep oyster sauce in the fridge because this is how my mom and grandmother did it. Most everything else is in the cupboard but the bottles do say “Refrigerate after opening”. So I’m doing it at my own risk. 😬
Ground beef just like tofu is such a great invention. Look at a good steak... lots of marbling of fat and muscle... now look at ground beef (or any ground meat) lots of fat to muscle. There is a reason beef is king meat. Same with pork, chicken and turkey... all are great proteins... and tofu too!
Flow I hate to interrupt your cooking show today but this is sunny I need your help I need to know I need you to make a video on how to make peanut sauce Chinese dipping peanut sauce and also I want to see if there's a way that you can make another video on sweet and sour sweet and sour😢😊😅
I learned Decades ago, not to argue with a Woman. It will come back to Haunt you 10, 20, even 30 yrs Later... These Dishes look Great Flo. The Price of Ground Beef at Costco has dropped the past few Months. Even before COVID it was $9.99/kg and remained there, but lately it has been $8.59/kg. At least in the 8 Edmonton Locations
I’ve never tried using Italian sausage because I’m not sure about mixing Italian spices with Asian flavours but you could always give it a go. Another option is to use ground pork instead of beef.
Some very tasty inexpensive meals to help you through these inflationary times! Happy Friday! 💕
Flo has such a way of explaining. Even if I don't make the dishes she demonstrates, I really enjoy watching the videos! So soothing! Thanks, Flo!
I love listening to her.
Thanks Flo, God bless you both in your efforts. It truly is good to be able to eat well without spending an arm and a leg for ingredients.
Thank you for Dinner. When I want something Asian I look to ur channel.

Thank you for your recipes, they remind me of what my mom use to make.
Everything looks delicious! I think mushrooms cut in half would be good in the beef and zucchini.

There are some nice stainless steel woks on Amazon, both flat and round bottom. I really like the kitchen aid 15 inch wok.
All so very yummy looking, I'm definitely going to make the zucchini dish and add julienned carrots for colour!

Thank you so much for the super thanks! Enjoy the spaghetti. ☺️
Update: turned out delicious! My husband said 'save that!' Leftovers lol thanks again 😊
Thanks for putting this together! Cooking meat makes me nervous so I usually opt for ground meat, can’t really go wrong with it 😅
Glad I found this episode. It didn't come up on my feed
I love the ground beef and spaghetti noodles, but I make mine in my pressure cooker...cause I can't be bothered, lol. Have a blessed week. 🙌

Flo,
Do you refrigerate your sauces or keep them in cupboard?
I only keep oyster sauce in the fridge because this is how my mom and grandmother did it. Most everything else is in the cupboard but the bottles do say “Refrigerate after opening”. So I’m doing it at my own risk. 😬
The first dish.. Almost “Dan Dan noodles” if you make it spicy. ツ
I was just going to ask about a WOK recommendations. Please find one 😊
It’s not so easy! I’ve been looking. ☹️
Flo where do you get a giant garlic press ?😅 I love your videos. Rab from Scotland
Mine only fits one clove at a time. But it’s a good one. OXO Garlic Press - Amazon - geni.us/OXOgarlicpress

Which cookbook are these recipes in please ?
Asian pasta and the original beef & peas that beef & zucchini is based on, are in Daily Special. The other two are not in a cookbook yet.

What is the name of your soy sauces? You mention a dark and a regular. But may we get the name ?
You mean brand? I use Kimlan.
Duyên
Instead of ground beef, Italian sausage?
I’ve never tried using Italian sausage because I’m not sure about mixing Italian spices with Asian flavours but you could always give it a go. Another option is to use ground pork instead of beef.
And do we believe inflation is going down
I missed the taste of dude. 😢
lol 😂
You’ll have to watch the full videos. 😉
