Thanks for posting this, I really enjoyed it. Despite the fact that there were lots of errors from both sides it was an exciting game. I feel some sympathy for Beno Obano because the mistake he made was in contravention of the recent player protection guidance , whereas so many mistakes made by other players were not, so they didn't get sent off like Obano did. I wonder how both Saints and England will replace the giant (both literally and figuratively) that is Courtney Lawes. Over recent years when I've been selecting my own England teams his name has always been first on the list, because he is such a fantastic player. He will be a great loss to both teams and I wish him well in his adventures in France. I doubt that you will ever see this but if you do, thanks for everything Courtney!
As someone who is more a league than a union fan, although i do enjoy going to the occasional union game, a huge thank you to the crowd who applauded on the seventh minute. The Doddie Weir and Rob Burrow stories have definitely brought both codes of the game closer together, and this was a beautiful mark of respect, which was very much appreciated

Also the game was on itv so anyone could have watched. And then there’s this thing called the news and social media where they talk about it. We are in countries that don’t play it…so yah. We dont know the results…and yah…we purposely don’t look because hopefully someone posts it. So again. Yah…same when the announcer calls other games in the premiership during the game, it’s BS…I want to watch that game without bias.
Christopher Ridley had a really good game. Some big calls, and he got them right, quite often before the TMO got there.
