After the orange wave I really lost interest, I kept buying them but by the time the figures with the slides came out I really was out of it. After Episode 1 I pretty much stopped buying Hasbro SW, with the occasional exception.
Yeah. It was the Special Editions for me that killed it in 1997, plus the figures on steroids were unattractive to me.
