Striking venue. Nothing like that was there back in 67-68 when I was stationed in Korea. I would sometimes bus down to Seoul from our base in Uijongbu for concerts by what I think was the radio symphony orchestra performed in Citizens Hall. There's another space by that name now, so the one I went to may be long gone. Also caught the Royal Australian Ballet there. I still remember one time, as I was walking up the steps to the hall, and a woman in traditional dress pressing a ticket for the concert in my hand and refusing all my attempts at payment. She spoke no English and I very little Korean, so I''ll never know why she gave me the ticket.
Only strings, eh? There's a public domain recording of the US Air Force Band playing this very song with only _band_ instruments. I have found the antithesis! I shall combine them!
