Great video. Look up one they used on the Salt marsh on the Great Salt Lake. I'm sure anything the Salt didn't eat up got scraped. I don't know it's history but figured it would be better off staying on the snow. 😁

Amazing - never thought that could be done, but the model T is simply the BEST CAR in the World!!

Really neat stuff there !! I've never seen anything like that here on the West Coast. Thanks for the video :-)

You're welcome for the video. I think they have one of these in a museum somewhere in Alaska.

The addition of the second axle and wheel set with the tracks greatly increases the traction available over the single wheels while reducing the surface load in psi or psf on the snow and ice. Neat.

4:17 That one, with the wheels up front. That's the one I'd want.

Me too! That thing is *epic!!!* I'd still have a set of skis for it though. It's about 4 bolts to remove the hub assembly with tire and two bolts per ski. On a lake like this, I'd run with skis. But cruising the strip in a convertible, 6 wheeled model t with the top down in the dead of winter and there would be *no one* on the road as cool as you! Lol McLaren's and Bugatti's parked next to that would be ignored. They would be in the background of hundreds of photos people posted on social media of *your* $20,000 car! 😂

From Ossipee if I remember correctly. I think his name was Virgil White or something like that. I'm probably wrong though. ( I think he also coined the term Snowmobile )
