The basic principles of Christianity are seen as controversial only because we live in a heathenistic society. Well divorce and cheating are directly contrary to most peoples marriage ideals. There is no inherent disagreement between the concept of commencement and the idea of a woman choosing mother and homemaker as their primary career. After all commencement is just that. Commence living your adult life, whatever direction that it takes you.
