- I tested the Helios 44-2 58mm f2.0 vintage lens in combination with the Blazar Nero Anamorphic Adapter.I really like this combination. The retro character of the lens combined with the Anamorphic adapter gives an unique film look.

Haha that distortion on the edges goes craaaazy. I imagine this could be client usable in s35 mode 99% sure (depending on the client of course).

I think you had stabilization on, you might turn it off for anamorphic since i think sony has only spherical lens stabilization mode.
Thanks for watching. Yes I had the standard stabilization on. Without stabilization I got some micro shakes when using my 75mm anamorphic lens. I might try it again with this lens. Thx for mentioning. Have a great day

I really love the nero :) do you know what causes the bokeh in the edges at 0:34 to be slim and tall and super sharp (which i do not like that much)but in the next shot 0:35 the edges are soft and streched (which i love)?

Thanks a lot for watching. Yes, its a general problem with Anamorphic lenses and the Sony IBIS camera stabilization. I set the IBIS to "standard" to avoid the micro shakes when used handheld but it can lead to image wobble. I might test it without IBIS in the future to see the difference. Thx for your comment.
