- The Freedom Front Plus has become the latest to join the government of
national unity.
Party leader Pieter Groenewald says the recognition of Orania wasn't
one of the conditions for joining the GNU as there's already a
concluded agreement with the Northern Cape government.
He says the self-determination of Orania doesn't depend on the ANC but
part of Section 235 of the constitution.
Groenewald says they've made proposals that will benefit the rest of
South Africa, not just white people.

What is the difference between DA and FF Plus except for a right wing and left wing history during apartheid? Now there is no place for a 1% party any more. Their goals are the same. They both seek for survival of the white minority in a black dominated demography. Both are participating for the favor of the majority black vote. For 30 years they are a 1% party with no benefit to the voters they represent. None will miss them if they dissappear from the scene. Only six people will miss their soft seats and benefits on the gravy train. In the next election their number of voters will reduce by 40% to 50%. Perhaps it's time after 30 years for that voice to get silient.

Sorry, the FF lost a lot of support in the election as was expected and I think they are more irrelevant now than ever before. The FF couldn't gather significant support the past few years for specific reasons which I think many know of. So I think it is time to dissolve the FF and leave the future in the hands of the younger generation.

The ''land question" is a pathetically unambitious pursuit peddled by black populists. In reality, it wants 50 000 000 black people to somehow benefit from a redistribution of land from white people. There's only 4 000 000 white people, but most of them belong to the middle class and own very little other than perhaps some equity in their mortgaged houses and savings in the form of pension. Many are one missed paycheck away from living on the street. Wealth is not static, it is caused by production, so to improve the lives of 40 000 000 poor black people, you need policies that are growth friendly, not Venezuelan. Furthermore, belated restitution cause more injustice because it would be misdirected at people who's only crime is that they are the same race as the people who ran Apartheid. Also, by basing it on race, there would be no distinction between poor black people and say, black billionaire, Partice Motsepe. Besides, South Africa have always had a redistributive fiscal policy that runs on income and consumption, not wealth, which redistributes about R2 trillion every year from high earners/spenders, regardless of race, to poor people, regardless of race.

There aren't any Europeans in South Africa. I went to visit Europe some time ago, and those are not my people. They think of me as a foreigner, and they don't even understand me when I speak my language. So for as long as you can't look past the colour of our skins, our country will not be able to move forward.
