And really I don't find any useful videos regarding to this topic. But your video series is very much informative. That's my trust level is high in your videos. Thank you sir 😊😊

    Sir can we take some constant form factor for chir pine if we r calculating volume using height n basal area...

    • @dr.bikramsingh2661
      @dr.bikramsingh2661  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Using Constants in general for ALL may give unreliable outcome, because stem profile (shape)depends upon wide range of localities, ages, sites, stand densities, etc. on which the calculation of constants may be based on. Even the trees of same form with different heights will have different form factors. BUT If you have similar conditions for particular species WORKED on for the taper equations then ONLY RELIABLE results can be obtained.

    How we can determine form class
    For eg 35 neleiod, 50 conoid
    In this 35 how come sir
    One more doubt 0.325-0.375 is nebuloid
    0.475-0.525 is conoid
    My question is what is 0.375- 0.475 sir and others
    Thank you sir

    • @dr.bikramsingh2661
      @dr.bikramsingh2661  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      0.475 to 0.525 is a class (quotient ratio between mid-dia & dbh) and the mid point is somewhere 50 (indicating 0.50) for conoid shape of bole. In forestry huge data collection of stand for volume estimation, we need classification of form in such a way to make enumeration feasible.

      @@dr.bikramsingh2661 thanks for your reply sir if I get value between 0.375-0.475 what is this sir conoid Or nebuloid

    • @dr.bikramsingh2661
      @dr.bikramsingh2661  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      inclined towards neiloid. unless it crosses 0.47 then conoid shape is adopted.
