@@Chicks-do-infact-dig-me I still find it annoying how much people think Godzilla has no stamina or requires tons of time to rest, the dude can fight for weeks upon weeks long travelling all over the world and ocean just to beat the crap out of some strong as Kaiju and still walk away to kick ass another day. Nothing in Pacific Rim can even come close to what Godzilla has battled before, he is way bigger and stronger then any of them combined, which literally the biggest Kaiju in PR is yet not even close to Godzilla's weight, he would throw that thing into the next zip code.
Much of the history of the Godzilla series is aliens bringing monsters to Earth, against which Godzilla faces a serious challenge, often requiring Godzilla to call on the assistance of other monsters as allies. That story is the origin of Godzilla as a hero, in fact.
The sheer weight difference is where this falls apart, the jaegers are built to withstand hits from something a tenth of the weight of Godzilla. A single swing of his tail would likely obliterate their armour.
Not to mention godzilla fights 2 mutos weighing in at 90k tons for the female and probably 70k for the male. Even 5 8k kaijus would do nothing to him. Jaegers have trouble with the lightweights. Godzilla would crush them with little effort
he said that Godzilla wouldn't be really interested in the Yeager but if i remember correctly gypsy danger have a nuclear reactor so Godzilla may end up wanting a Yeager snack
Luckily for Gypsy Danger, Godzilla doesn't consume radiation that way, he gets his radiation from the geothermal energy at the bottom of trenches. Edit: I forgot about Godzilla eating radiation from U.S. and Russian subs in the 50's. Yeah, Gypsy Danger would be fucked.
Nah he passed out from exhaustion HOWEVER it's justified because he literally woke up like 3 days before that fight after slumbering for basically millions of years then waking up for maybe a few months then went back to sleep for another 60 years then woke up to an all out fight. He never hunted for a living creature at all between those millions of years and his awakening so yeah the old fighting rust definitely kicked in.
Here is a basic summary of Godzilla(2014): Kaiju John McClane comes out of retirement, fights a enemy in their prime/youth, runs a marathon without stopping to rest or food, fights the same enemy AND the enemy's girlfriend at the same time, wins by using his soul as fuel for a hadoken, and then collapses to finally rest.
Most category 5s and even the mega kaigu would barely provide a challenge to godzilla, they would need to create kaijus designed for heavyweight fighting. Even then kaijus would have to face a godzilla who's been fighting for millions of years. Even then we have to infer that godzilla doesn't get supercharged by the radiation by the portals.
Now that I think about it, Godzilla never stopped chasing the Muto's when they hatched. Then he fought a battle that lasted for hours..... I'm pretty sure You're severely underestimating his stamina.
Crossing the pacific in 72 hours, plus looking at the sky throughout the fight, that’s easily another 12 hours of intense combat. Yeah, stamina is not a weakness of Godzilla’s
Also, another thing is that since the kaiju and Godzilla would take mere minutes to get to the city if they do fight, won't Godzilla have tons of stamina? Also seeing how the jaegers community of human support has visual on Godzilla at all times, won't the humans be able to tell? since they have seen that Godzilla is passive when there is no kaijus but aggressive only towards kaijus that enter through the gate?

His atomic breath uses so much of his stamina that when he used it on the female Muto he colapsed. Also I would like to add that godzilla is extremely intelligent and when he fought against the Mutos he began to learn that the male attacks his back. He then anticipated it and impaled the creature with his tail.
Godzilla’s atomic breath bore a hole halfway down the earth in minutes, then proceeded to shoot it at rapid fire at Kong. He’s op now. The first movie was just him hitting the snooze button. He just needed sometime to wake up after a few thousand year nap.

Like, for fuck sake, I'm not even shutting you, there are so many sequels that are good that are hated, it isn't even something to joke about. There are ones that are legitimately bad, Force Unleashed 2 will never beat out the first, but there are so many more that are actually good. Makes people like me wonder if the people hating them are only doing so so that other people don't see that they secretly like them. I would not be surprised at all. After all, back in early 2017, there were still 33k+ people playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 on Xbox 360. Stuff like that only happens with games like Team Fortress 2, not Call of Duty. Godzilla would attack the other Kaiju. As long as a Jaeger stays out of his way we'd be ok. He would probably understand seeing Jaeger's fighting Kaiju and not attack a Jaeger.
Maybe not. Godzilla doesn't really attack humans, but we're tiny in comparison. A Jaeger is rather large and Godzilla would probably see it as a threat, not really understanding that it's a machine and therefore isn't competition for his food source. Although the Jaegers are machines and Godzilla probably wouldn't send a preemptive attack on any unless it showed up neer his food source. That way he could recognize its size, determine its a threat to his food, and catch its sent. Afterwards Godzilla would chase that specific Jaeger to the ends of the earth, and any others he notices during his chase.

One thing about Godzilla’s “weakness”, he swam across the Pacific Ocean before fighting for several hours straight against two smaller and more nimble opponents.
Not to mention those opponents are his literal enemies and predators built to kill off his species, even their EMP weakens Godzilla and his atomic breathe yet he took both of them down and survived for a long time battling them all over the place, people talk about how he has low stamina and requires a long time to rest as if he hasn't shown any feats of those being impressive, the dude is way beyond impressive when it comes to that shit, find me one other monster that has achieved this level of crazy battles and even against their own predators, the only other kaiju i could even come close to comparing is Kong, and he ain't even close to battling the shit Godzilla has gone through with.

In the novelization for KOTM in the battle of Boston godzilla attacked Ghidorah so continously, so relentlessly, with such pressure and such viciousness that Ghidorah wasn't able to regenerate AT ALL. Godzilla's non stop onslaught BYPASSED Ghidorah's regeneration factor. Ghidorah was loosing badly. His body was scorched from Godzilla's atomic breath, one head was barely dangling off his body. To maintain such an aggressive onslaught you need to have monstrous stamina

@@raionshishi8290 I tend to disagree. Kong's body is built for speed, stamina and resistance. Godzilla was pretty tired during the battle with the muto's. Kong on the other hand fought almost non stop the entire movie, was burned and almost suffocated, was hurt but kept fighting. He has a lot more stamina than Godzilla and his leaner and more muscular body build gives him a considerable advantage in speed. Also Kong's most underrated qualities is his tremendous will power. He got slashed by rotor blades, bit and hurt by skullcrawlers, was almost suffocated and still got up and continued fighting, and his willpower is so strong that he totally ignored Ghidorah's call to arms and would stand up to any of the titans should it come down to it
@@theonewhoismany8072 Godzilla being tired AFTER the whole fight is very much justified, same as Kong fighting the whole time and through the whole Movie Godzilla did the same if not more, considering he fought the male MUTO in Hawaii and then traveled the entire ocean all the way to San Francisco and fought with both Male and Female MUTO's and survived even after being beaten constantly and crushed by buildings and weakened by the EMP of the MUTO's which again they are Godzilla's natural enemy/predator same as Kong had to fight his. Both of them have incredible stamina, not to mention in Godzilla 2019 Godzilla shows he is way faster then we had thought and again he shows he travels from place to place with no rest fighting along the way constantly.
IMO movies where Godzilla fights other giant monsters aren't often good movies... but most of the Godzilla franchise demonstrates that Godzilla faces a challenge when it fights other monsters. People would hardly care about Godzilla in those movies otherwise.

The new movie proved that godzilla has more stamina than 2014 as well. This video was released before kotm released. So they had no idea how powerful goji really is.

To be fair, Godzilla only collapsed after fighting for about a day straight against opponents about as tough as he was after already fighting one of them the night before. So I don't think he'd pass out so soon after killing the kaiju. Still, good video up to that point and I do like these a lot.
and he did travel from one part of the world to the other straight without stopping and he even picked up speed out swimming the militaries ships so there was a lot of effort just getting himself to the fight.
Not to mention the fact that he was sleeping for a really long time and only had the radiation for the bomb "test" as a snack. He's probably running long on energy.
Major Godzilla fan here. 2014 Godzilla’s endurance is actually very good and even better than a Jaeger’s. Godzilla had been fighting, hunting, and chasing the Muto for about 2 days non-stop in the 2014 movie. First fight was in Hawaii, then he swam from Hawaii all the way to San Francisco (2,336 miles) and won a 2 on 1 fight against opponents who are arguably better than the Kaiju in Pacific Rim. Not only that, but he was out of shape since he’d just woken up from eaons of slumber. Godzilla’s design is being upgraded in 2019’s King of the Monsters. His shoulders are broadened, his arms are more muscular, his hands are wider and more flexible, his legs are more toned, his feet are wider with longer claws, his eyes have been enlarged a little, his brow is angled down to look a little more angry, his tale has a stubby end, and the most notable change is that his dorsal spikes are the exact same shape as the original 1954 Godzilla. They basically trimmed down his fat, gave him toned muscle, and made him more fit to fight, which is sure to help him against King Ghidorah. He’s the best looking and fittest Godzilla ever! Also, his atomic breath has gotten A LOT more powerful. Watch the 2019 trailers and you’ll see that his new breath could easily overwhelm a Jaeger. Also, I’m really not sure this new Godzilla wouldn’t view a Jaeger as another lion invading his territory. They are kaiju sized and he may see them as something to be destroyed kind of like how lions kill hyenas that venture too close.
That point about the Big G seeing Jaegers as threats is possible now that I think about it. But if I think they would be more like walking snacks for the G man cause if I remember correctly.... They are walking nukes... Or at least Gipsy Danger is
He wasn't slumbering for eons. Don't forget the video footage from the 50's showing him roaming about before U.S. tried to nuke him, and the cave paintings of his fight with King Ghidorah that could've been 10,000-30,000 years ago, along with waking up occasionally and inspiring the mythologies of several cultures. He was waking up maybe a few thousand years at a time.

Thing is Godzilla only got tired with his fight with the MUTO's due to him fighting the male from Hawaii, chasing it down, fighting it for hours then in Los Angeles, then at night he fought the two MUTO's and killed them. then rested he was none stop fighting or moving for over a day. his stamina ain't in question here. we also must factor in that the Muto's are a lot more heavier than the Kaiju in Pacific rim by a large margin even the Male, there specie was also evolved to fight Godzilla's to a degree. it would take Godzilla mere minutes to kill even a cat 5 Kaiju then have enough time to rest, or still have enough energy to fight some more.

@@nocturnallycan6385 He had already killed the male by the time he killed the female. It could be that both of the mutos had their EMPs active and, like MoJo Claw pointed out, kept him from being able to use his atomic breath with them both in the vicinity. Once the male was far away he unleashed it on the female, and even then it didn't just kill the female like that. Her hide was so thick that it protected her innards from becoming liquified. Once he killed the male (and got back on his feet) the EMP that covered the area may have weakened so that his atomic breath may have become slightly stronger, not to mention the fact that he literally breathed it down the female's throat. There's no armor protecting the inside of her mouth.
Another thing we have to consider are the Jaeger pilots themselves. If they show up on scene with Godzilla dispatching Kaiju, there is actually a good chance the Jaeger pilots on the ground themselves could disregard orders and make the judgement call not to attack Godzilla. Remember, most modern military's put a great amount emphasis on field officers taking the initiative and making orders that benefit the overall mission, rather than just the orders of some general 50 miles away. What is the overall mission of the Jaegers? To kill Kaiju and protect civilian centers. Well, the Kaiju have just been killed, so the Jaegers in the field would have to make the judgement call to engage Godzilla or let him go depending on the danger to civilians. Godzilla won't attack the humans and would try to leave, so it's a 50-50 chance the Jaegers there would let him go.
Maybe, but also in that world some Jaeger pilots can be a little hot-headed or arrogant, and jump the gun (the best example is the beginning of the first movie). It's extremely possible that at least one of them (or command in general) could believe that Godzilla may be a new type of kaiju, and go for the attack.
@@tron9683 that's an absolute possibility. That Jaeger would get scrapped quicker than any Kaiju has done before, which would get him labeled as a high or even highest class threat. In that situation it'd require multiple kat 4-5 Kaiju popping out and Godzilla turning his attention to them and attacks the Kaiju. One Jaeger shows up faster than the others and gets a front row seat to some Godzilla Kaiju fighting, all the while reporting what he's witnessing to command. Afterwards when Godzilla emerges victorious, they get the plan to send Godzilla through the breach. Seeing how a nuke didn't do the trick, let's send worse through.
@@propheinx2250 Getting Godzilla through the breach would only work if they can figure out some way to get him through with a dead Kaiju. The one problem with that plan is Godzilla himself, as he most likely isn't about to follow along with that plan.
@@tron9683 one of the Jaegers willing to die would have to grab a kaiju carcass and well... put it on. Then get Godzilla's attention, and head to the breach. Hopefully the others follow behind in order to shove him through if he doesn't on his own.
If Godzilla was in pacific rim then they never have to built Jaeger's in first place. Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and other Titans are enough to deal with these pests.
Legendary got tired from chasing the MUTOs halfway across the world, and then fighting them. He wouldn't get tired after a single fight with the kaiju.

Mr Enchanted his stamina was waayy OTT in KOTM. He went from one battle to another criss crossing the oceans like it was a train stop. So... if the jaegers were facing 2019 godzilla, theyre screwed.
Kaiju battles are always a weight game. Whether it's the MUTOs or the Kaiju from Pacific Rim, they always go in to grapple. Remember how that went for the female MUTO in 2014? He toppled her in seconds. And given the more accurate to life weights of the monsters in that series, I can guarantee she weighs several times more than any of PR's Kaiju or Jaegers. Any of those fights would be equivalent to the 2016 Doom Guy fighting an Imp on the easiest difficulty.
I find this more funny since the guys who made Pacific Rim referred every jaeger as _"she"_ And Godzilla is male Meaning it would be reversed to what it would originally be. I think
In pacific rim, gipsy danger took an atomic blast while being severly damaged, under a ton of water pressure and still was working, and killed an almost twice the size of godzilla..
Luis AR twice the size but not the weight and mass. Just a punch from Godzilla can crush the jeager and his tail swing can flattened all metals in the jeager .

For all intents and purposes, the argument can't be made that Godzilla's tail doesn't deliver more force than the kaiju Leatherback's weight and yet Cherno Alpha withstood its weight for a bit before falling, so I believe its a bit of a stretch to expect Jagers with heavy duty metals to contain nuclear heat and radiation as well as a lot of trauma to be beaten by one swing of Godzilla's tail. I think Godzilla will win but it won't be such an easy victory. And frankly, I'm not sure how Godzilla's skin will be resistant to Gipsy Dangers swords or Striker Eurekas claws, they went through Slattern pretty easily.
Jay Olufsen the kaijus in pacific rim are alien aren't they? Because if so there body's are probably made up of very different materials than Godzilla especially considering how light they are compared to Godzilla, so I would think that the kaijus may be bigger or faster but there skin and flesh could be weaker. Another thing to consider is that if the jaegers are nuclear powered then Godzilla would be able to absorb that nuclear energy to make him stronger or to heal. PS:i have only seen the first pacific rim movie and even then it was a while ago so if I have overlooked something I'm sorry
To put this answer shortly and my thought: Godzilla wouldn't give a s**t which side he's on, he would kill everybody. He's the Anti-Hero for a reason, 'cause he's the great alpha predator and the top of the food chain.
If its 2014 and 2019 hes neutral and won't attack if not a threat so when he sees a kaujiu he will see it as a threat so if he sees a yager he might attack but he is intelligent so they could show him hes not a threat

electromagnetic pulse's have nothing to do with godzillas abilites, it was mainly used against the humans weapons being as our modern day tech is not resistant to a emp unless is some extremely high tech expensive military grade type shit like the Zumwalt-Class Stealth Destroyer. but based on what i gathered in the movie it is possible that they used it to stun or overload godzilla. As for his atomic breath being weakened it would be realistically and physically impossible being as that attack uses radiation. If it was electric based he would have been fucked.
One MORE last thing, the final factor in this is Legendary Godzilla's intelligence which is off the charts when it comes to Pacific Rim's kaiju. It's alluded to throughout the video but never directly stated, only excused away. Swimming under the aircraft carriers, trying not to destroy the Golden Gate bridge is less "lion ignoring the bite of an ant", more "Lion not wishing to step on an an hill". It's almost like he has experience against those ants... oh yes, the 50s footage...
True about Godzilla, but don't forget that the Kaiju share a hive mind, while aggressive on their own they still take orders directly from the Precursors.
@@tron9683 Well that makes the Precursors a smart opponent, but the kaiju are just animals. Yes, they are connected and take orders from their masters, but they still act on instincts, take Knifehead, his aggresivity wasn't from the Precursors, it was an istinct. If he was cleverly directed, he might have disabled Gipsy way sooner and way heavier, killing both pilots in the process. Leatherback acted like a crazy pissed of gorilla. Otachi seemed a little bit more intelligent so far, but still her behaviour was more animal like compared to 2014 Godzilla. And the rest, Slattern and co. They were still animals. Their connection to the Precursors might work more like a feedback on a tactical field, more like monitoring, than taking orders. They adapted the later kaiju after the previous one was defeated, sound more like collecting data, than aiding in battle.
@@Croftice1 There's some truth to this, but also some flaws. Leatherback may have seemed like a "crazed gorilla", but that was shown differently when Leatherback used it's EMP the moment that it noticed Striker Eureka's missile bay open. It was also shown to sneak attack Striker as they were coming to help Cherno Alpha. While it may not be the smartest kaiju, there's still some intelligence to it. And I do think they are given "orders" or directives, but it may be similar to Resident Evil's Tyrant, as they follow those directives however they see fit.
If gypsy danger was to fight godzilla, godzilla would attack gypsy's core because remember, he runs on nuclear energy so godzilla would want that radiation to heal rejuvenate him
I personally see it going down like this: -Big G arrives and is considered a Kaiju at first, although highly unusual. As such they do attempt to engage him numerous times, but fail due to him not playing by the same rule book as usual. While they do notice him hanging around the breech, they determine it too hazardous to engage such an unusual Kaiju here and wait for a better opportunity, perhaps starting to see his interest in radiation. -A Kaiju arrives, and as you state, Big G goes into full territorial mode and chases it down. However, the fight is VERY brief. Big G is just in such a different weight class that the normal Kaiju attack pattern gets it promptly killed. Big G walks off before the military can get on scene so they only witness the aftermath, a very confusing aftermath. -Part 2 repeats a few times as the military scratch their head on what they are dealing with. While Big G is a bit of a nuisance, compared to the Kaiju he is just that, a nuisance, but a helpful one. This sharply divides opinion both in the military and civilian populous about what to do about him. Some are taking the 'safe' approach of just killing him as he's an unknown and dangerous, while others take him as a potential valuable asset on their side. I think, in particular, the Jaeger pilots would side with the asset category as he has decimated the Kaiju and saved likely countless civilian lives, as well as their own. -At a certain point I suspect the military will learn enough about Big G to know how to attract him. However, the question then is how to use this info? Use it to aid them in the fight against the Kaiju, or use it to set a trap. Alternately, we get a new Kaiju appearance enough to give Big G trouble. If they go the trap route, I doubt this would succeed for several reasons. One, I suspect in full stamina Big G would wreck the Jaeger's just as easily as the Kaiju. Two, I suspect the Jaeger pilots wouldn't cooperate anyway which leaves conventional weapons which will be largely useless. If we go the asset route, they would likely reorganize their defense strategy around Big G, maybe even building their own, dare I say it... yes I dare, MECHAGODZILLA based on Big G's particular approach. If we go the new tougher Kaiju route, like the video goes, it comes down to the Jaeger pilots again, and again I think they may just side with Big G, especially as anything that gives Big G trouble is likely to have utterly wrecked them and they know it and they realize they are pretty much reliant on him now.
I totally agree with this being one (if not the most likely) possible course of events if the great protector Godzilla somehow ended up in the PR universe

Not all of the pilots, as there would be at least a couple of pilots with a chip on their shoulder who still believe Godzilla is a threat to be killed (could even be the protagonists). They eventually run off to fight him, and put up a good fight while fighting evasively. At least, they think they're putting up a fight before realizing their mistake. Near defeat, they're saved by A) Godzilla ending the fight and moving on, B) a couple of Jaegers have to pull their asses out of trouble, or C) the Kaiju that the Precursors prepared just for him shows up. In any of these scenarios, they all end with the pilots helping Godzilla defeat the Kaiju.
Godzilla would become a trophy kill. A few pilots would want to claim that victory. Which cause a particular pilot to end up as the pilot for mechagodzilla.
Godzilla didn’t fall asleep easily he was following/fighting the mutos for weeks

Nothing in Pacific Rim can even come close to what Godzilla has battled before, he is way bigger and stronger then any of them combined, which literally the biggest Kaiju in PR is yet not even close to Godzilla's weight, he would throw that thing into the next zip code.

Nah he passed out from exhaustion HOWEVER it's justified because he literally woke up like 3 days before that fight after slumbering for basically millions of years then waking up for maybe a few months then went back to sleep for another 60 years then woke up to an all out fight. He never hunted for a living creature at all between those millions of years and his awakening so yeah the old fighting rust definitely kicked in.
Here is a basic summary of Godzilla(2014): Kaiju John McClane comes out of retirement, fights a enemy in their prime/youth, runs a marathon without stopping to rest or food, fights the same enemy AND the enemy's girlfriend at the same time, wins by using his soul as fuel for a hadoken, and then collapses to finally rest.

@@theronhester-payne7196 When he talked about his stamina it was only drained not by his weight but by using his atomic breath. His atomic breath uses so much of his stamina that when he used it on the female Muto he colapsed.
Also I would like to add that godzilla is extremely intelligent and when he fought against the Mutos he began to learn that the male attacks his back. He then anticipated it and impaled the creature with his tail.

Godzilla would attack the other Kaiju. As long as a Jaeger stays out of his way we'd be ok. He would probably understand seeing Jaeger's fighting Kaiju and not attack a Jaeger.
Maybe not. Godzilla doesn't really attack humans, but we're tiny in comparison. A Jaeger is rather large and Godzilla would probably see it as a threat, not really understanding that it's a machine and therefore isn't competition for his food source. Although the Jaegers are machines and Godzilla probably wouldn't send a preemptive attack on any unless it showed up neer his food source. That way he could recognize its size, determine its a threat to his food, and catch its sent. Afterwards Godzilla would chase that specific Jaeger to the ends of the earth, and any others he notices during his chase.

One thing about Godzilla’s “weakness”, he swam across the Pacific Ocean before fighting for several hours straight against two smaller and more nimble opponents.
Not to mention those opponents are his literal enemies and predators built to kill off his species, even their EMP weakens Godzilla and his atomic breathe yet he took both of them down and survived for a long time battling them all over the place, people talk about how he has low stamina and requires a long time to rest as if he hasn't shown any feats of those being impressive, the dude is way beyond impressive when it comes to that shit, find me one other monster that has achieved this level of crazy battles and even against their own predators, the only other kaiju i could even come close to comparing is Kong, and he ain't even close to battling the shit Godzilla has gone through with.

In the novelization for KOTM in the battle of Boston godzilla attacked Ghidorah so continously, so relentlessly, with such pressure and such viciousness that Ghidorah wasn't able to regenerate AT ALL. Godzilla's non stop onslaught BYPASSED Ghidorah's regeneration factor. Ghidorah was loosing badly. His body was scorched from Godzilla's atomic breath, one head was barely dangling off his body. To maintain such an aggressive onslaught you need to have monstrous stamina

Kong on the other hand fought almost non stop the entire movie, was burned and almost suffocated, was hurt but kept fighting. He has a lot more stamina than Godzilla and his leaner and more muscular body build gives him a considerable advantage in speed. Also Kong's most underrated qualities is his tremendous will power. He got slashed by rotor blades, bit and hurt by skullcrawlers, was almost suffocated and still got up and continued fighting, and his willpower is so strong that he totally ignored Ghidorah's call to arms and would stand up to any of the titans should it come down to it

To be fair, Godzilla only collapsed after fighting for about a day straight against opponents about as tough as he was after already fighting one of them the night before. So I don't think he'd pass out so soon after killing the kaiju. Still, good video up to that point and I do like these a lot.
and he did travel from one part of the world to the other straight without stopping and he even picked up speed out swimming the militaries ships so there was a lot of effort just getting himself to the fight.
He also took a fair bit of damage by that point from the various fights
Not to mention the fact that he was sleeping for a really long time and only had the radiation for the bomb "test" as a snack. He's probably running long on energy.

Major Godzilla fan here. 2014 Godzilla’s endurance is actually very good and even better than a Jaeger’s. Godzilla had been fighting, hunting, and chasing the Muto for about 2 days non-stop in the 2014 movie. First fight was in Hawaii, then he swam from Hawaii all the way to San Francisco (2,336 miles) and won a 2 on 1 fight against opponents who are arguably better than the Kaiju in Pacific Rim. Not only that, but he was out of shape since he’d just woken up from eaons of slumber.
Godzilla’s design is being upgraded in 2019’s King of the Monsters. His shoulders are broadened, his arms are more muscular, his hands are wider and more flexible, his legs are more toned, his feet are wider with longer claws, his eyes have been enlarged a little, his brow is angled down to look a little more angry, his tale has a stubby end, and the most notable change is that his dorsal spikes are the exact same shape as the original 1954 Godzilla. They basically trimmed down his fat, gave him toned muscle, and made him more fit to fight, which is sure to help him against King Ghidorah. He’s the best looking and fittest Godzilla ever! Also, his atomic breath has gotten A LOT more powerful. Watch the 2019 trailers and you’ll see that his new breath could easily overwhelm a Jaeger.
Also, I’m really not sure this new Godzilla wouldn’t view a Jaeger as another lion invading his territory. They are kaiju sized and he may see them as something to be destroyed kind of like how lions kill hyenas that venture too close.
That point about the Big G seeing Jaegers as threats is possible now that I think about it. But if I think they would be more like walking snacks for the G man cause if I remember correctly.... They are walking nukes... Or at least Gipsy Danger is

He wasn't slumbering for eons. Don't forget the video footage from the 50's showing him roaming about before U.S. tried to nuke him, and the cave paintings of his fight with King Ghidorah that could've been 10,000-30,000 years ago, along with waking up occasionally and inspiring the mythologies of several cultures. He was waking up maybe a few thousand years at a time.

Thing is Godzilla only got tired with his fight with the MUTO's due to him fighting the male from Hawaii, chasing it down, fighting it for hours then in Los Angeles, then at night he fought the two MUTO's and killed them. then rested he was none stop fighting or moving for over a day. his stamina ain't in question here. we also must factor in that the Muto's are a lot more heavier than the Kaiju in Pacific rim by a large margin even the Male, there specie was also evolved to fight Godzilla's to a degree. it would take Godzilla mere minutes to kill even a cat 5 Kaiju then have enough time to rest, or still have enough energy to fight some more.

It could be that both of the mutos had their EMPs active and, like MoJo Claw pointed out, kept him from being able to use his atomic breath with them both in the vicinity. Once the male was far away he unleashed it on the female, and even then it didn't just kill the female like that. Her hide was so thick that it protected her innards from becoming liquified. Once he killed the male (and got back on his feet) the EMP that covered the area may have weakened so that his atomic breath may have become slightly stronger, not to mention the fact that he literally breathed it down the female's throat. There's no armor protecting the inside of her mouth.
Another thing we have to consider are the Jaeger pilots themselves. If they show up on scene with Godzilla dispatching Kaiju, there is actually a good chance the Jaeger pilots on the ground themselves could disregard orders and make the judgement call not to attack Godzilla. Remember, most modern military's put a great amount emphasis on field officers taking the initiative and making orders that benefit the overall mission, rather than just the orders of some general 50 miles away.
What is the overall mission of the Jaegers? To kill Kaiju and protect civilian centers. Well, the Kaiju have just been killed, so the Jaegers in the field would have to make the judgement call to engage Godzilla or let him go depending on the danger to civilians. Godzilla won't attack the humans and would try to leave, so it's a 50-50 chance the Jaegers there would let him go.

Maybe, but also in that world some Jaeger pilots can be a little hot-headed or arrogant, and jump the gun (the best example is the beginning of the first movie). It's extremely possible that at least one of them (or command in general) could believe that Godzilla may be a new type of kaiju, and go for the attack.
@@tron9683 that's an absolute possibility. That Jaeger would get scrapped quicker than any Kaiju has done before, which would get him labeled as a high or even highest class threat. In that situation it'd require multiple kat 4-5 Kaiju popping out and Godzilla turning his attention to them and attacks the Kaiju. One Jaeger shows up faster than the others and gets a front row seat to some Godzilla Kaiju fighting, all the while reporting what he's witnessing to command. Afterwards when Godzilla emerges victorious, they get the plan to send Godzilla through the breach. Seeing how a nuke didn't do the trick, let's send worse through.

Kaiju battles are always a weight game. Whether it's the MUTOs or the Kaiju from Pacific Rim, they always go in to grapple. Remember how that went for the female MUTO in 2014? He toppled her in seconds. And given the more accurate to life weights of the monsters in that series, I can guarantee she weighs several times more than any of PR's Kaiju or Jaegers. Any of those fights would be equivalent to the 2016 Doom Guy fighting an Imp on the easiest difficulty.

In pacific rim, gipsy danger took an atomic blast while being severly damaged, under a ton of water pressure and still was working, and killed an almost twice the size of godzilla..

For all intents and purposes, the argument can't be made that Godzilla's tail doesn't deliver more force than the kaiju Leatherback's weight and yet Cherno Alpha withstood its weight for a bit before falling, so I believe its a bit of a stretch to expect Jagers with heavy duty metals to contain nuclear heat and radiation as well as a lot of trauma to be beaten by one swing of Godzilla's tail. I think Godzilla will win but it won't be such an easy victory. And frankly, I'm not sure how Godzilla's skin will be resistant to Gipsy Dangers swords or Striker Eurekas claws, they went through Slattern pretty easily.
Jay Olufsen the kaijus in pacific rim are alien aren't they? Because if so there body's are probably made up of very different materials than Godzilla especially considering how light they are compared to Godzilla, so I would think that the kaijus may be bigger or faster but there skin and flesh could be weaker. Another thing to consider is that if the jaegers are nuclear powered then Godzilla would be able to absorb that nuclear energy to make him stronger or to heal.

One MORE last thing, the final factor in this is Legendary Godzilla's intelligence which is off the charts when it comes to Pacific Rim's kaiju. It's alluded to throughout the video but never directly stated, only excused away. Swimming under the aircraft carriers, trying not to destroy the Golden Gate bridge is less "lion ignoring the bite of an ant", more "Lion not wishing to step on an an hill".

Yes, they are connected and take orders from their masters, but they still act on instincts, take Knifehead, his aggresivity wasn't from the Precursors, it was an istinct. If he was cleverly directed, he might have disabled Gipsy way sooner and way heavier, killing both pilots in the process. Leatherback acted like a crazy pissed of gorilla. Otachi seemed a little bit more intelligent so far, but still her behaviour was more animal like compared to 2014 Godzilla. And the rest, Slattern and co. They were still animals. Their connection to the Precursors might work more like a feedback on a tactical field, more like monitoring, than taking orders. They adapted the later kaiju after the previous one was defeated, sound more like collecting data, than aiding in battle.

Leatherback may have seemed like a "crazed gorilla", but that was shown differently when Leatherback used it's EMP the moment that it noticed Striker Eureka's missile bay open. It was also shown to sneak attack Striker as they were coming to help Cherno Alpha. While it may not be the smartest kaiju, there's still some intelligence to it. And I do think they are given "orders" or directives, but it may be similar to Resident Evil's Tyrant, as they follow those directives however they see fit.

I personally see it going down like this:
-Big G arrives and is considered a Kaiju at first, although highly unusual. As such they do attempt to engage him numerous times, but fail due to him not playing by the same rule book as usual. While they do notice him hanging around the breech, they determine it too hazardous to engage such an unusual Kaiju here and wait for a better opportunity, perhaps starting to see his interest in radiation.
-A Kaiju arrives, and as you state, Big G goes into full territorial mode and chases it down. However, the fight is VERY brief. Big G is just in such a different weight class that the normal Kaiju attack pattern gets it promptly killed. Big G walks off before the military can get on scene so they only witness the aftermath, a very confusing aftermath.
-Part 2 repeats a few times as the military scratch their head on what they are dealing with. While Big G is a bit of a nuisance, compared to the Kaiju he is just that, a nuisance, but a helpful one. This sharply divides opinion both in the military and civilian populous about what to do about him. Some are taking the 'safe' approach of just killing him as he's an unknown and dangerous, while others take him as a potential valuable asset on their side. I think, in particular, the Jaeger pilots would side with the asset category as he has decimated the Kaiju and saved likely countless civilian lives, as well as their own.
-At a certain point I suspect the military will learn enough about Big G to know how to attract him. However, the question then is how to use this info? Use it to aid them in the fight against the Kaiju, or use it to set a trap. Alternately, we get a new Kaiju appearance enough to give Big G trouble. If they go the trap route, I doubt this would succeed for several reasons. One, I suspect in full stamina Big G would wreck the Jaeger's just as easily as the Kaiju. Two, I suspect the Jaeger pilots wouldn't cooperate anyway which leaves conventional weapons which will be largely useless. If we go the asset route, they would likely reorganize their defense strategy around Big G, maybe even building their own, dare I say it... yes I dare, MECHAGODZILLA based on Big G's particular approach. If we go the new tougher Kaiju route, like the video goes, it comes down to the Jaeger pilots again, and again I think they may just side with Big G, especially as anything that gives Big G trouble is likely to have utterly wrecked them and they know it and they realize they are pretty much reliant on him now.
This is a well thought out synopsis of what could happen. It has better reasoning than those in the video (Sorry Bandit).
I totally agree with this being one (if not the most likely) possible course of events if the great protector Godzilla somehow ended up in the PR universe

Not all of the pilots, as there would be at least a couple of pilots with a chip on their shoulder who still believe Godzilla is a threat to be killed (could even be the protagonists). They eventually run off to fight him, and put up a good fight while fighting evasively. At least, they think they're putting up a fight before realizing their mistake. Near defeat, they're saved by A) Godzilla ending the fight and moving on, B) a couple of Jaegers have to pull their asses out of trouble, or C) the Kaiju that the Precursors prepared just for him shows up. In any of these scenarios, they all end with the pilots helping Godzilla defeat the Kaiju.
Godzilla would become a trophy kill. A few pilots would want to claim that victory. Which cause a particular pilot to end up as the pilot for mechagodzilla.
Biggest difference: Kaiju are monsters/bio weapons, Godzilla is just an animal in most respects.
