This was my biggest take away from this video as well! I bought an airbrush and THEN discovered that paints don't play together well. This technique shows you can take advantage of that rivalry. Oh, and that there are metal decals! I didn't know that either.
I need some help from experts like you guys. I started recently spraying my models and i am pleased with the results overall, but i notice the level of spray you get is much much superior. I am using acrylic based colours. Is this the right colours to use. One other problem i get is that when i apply the faded black for the line markings and try to remove the excess, i will always loose an amount of spray from underneath. what do you do? How do you manage. Can you help me please. What colours do you use for the actual coats especially the metallic coats and what colours do you use to do the black line markings? TY.

Even I personaly doesn't like the char's sazabi but your work for your sazabi is fantastic its so real and lively it's little bit similar with the Iron Man Hulk Buster. Good 👍 job.

안녕하세요. 사용한 도료 정보가 댓글 상단에 없어서 여쭤봅니다. 초보인지라 해당 동영상을 보고 그대로 따라하려고 합니다만, 루리웹에 올리신 도료와 본 영상에서 사용한 도료 설명이 조금 달라서 여쭤봅니다.. 외장 도색할 때 루리웹에서는 가이아노츠 건메탈이 적혀있고, 영상에서는 가이아노츠 서페이서 에보가 나오더라구요. 블랙 색상 파츠 도색이니 둘 다 되는것인지..아니면 영상대로 서페이서 에보가 더 나을지..여쭤봅니다
오버코팅의 1단계가 서페이서 2단계가 실버였습니다. 이미 실버를 도포한 파츠에 클리어 애플레드를 올리면 된다는걸 말씀드린 부분입니다. 사포질에 대해서는 영상에서 언급을 안했습니다만.... 기본적으로는 게이트 부분은 사포질해주는게 맞습니다. 허나 RG 사자비와 같은경우에는 외장 파츠의 대부분이 언더게이트(외부로 보이지 않게끔 게이트를 하단에 배치)로 출시 되었기 때문에 사포질에 많은 시간 할애 하지 않아도 됩니다. 저는 아에 생략했습니다^^;;
방금 블랙 유광 하도에 따른 차이가 있냐 영상에서 소수의 분들이 굉장히 공격적으로 얘기하시길래 저도 처음에는 "보통 블랙 유광을 올리는게 정석인데 이렇게 하시는데에는 이유가 있지 않을까?" 라는 생각에 답글로 남겨주신 이 영상을 보고 들어왔습니다만, 오버코팅 느낌을 주는데에 굉장히 무리가 없다고 생각되네요! 아직 직접 해본건 아니지만 많은 도움이 될 거 같습니다!

디테일 업이야 에나멜 워싱정도만 해줬는데 워낙 명품킷이라 더욱 빛이 나는것 같습니다ㅎ

The grey was painted using enamel and cleaned up using enamel thiner, so only the grey paint will be removed.

Even I personaly doesn't like the char's sazabi but your work for your sazabi is fantastic its so real and lively it's little bit similar with the Iron Man Hulk Buster. Good 👍 job.
How much is that spray gun that you used? What type of spray gun would you recommend?
You can get an Iwata Eclipse for about $115 US. Will go through anything you need to in gunpla (and many other hobbies)
Two questions for you. Did you applied the topcoat before or after the decals? And what type of red color you used?
apply the water decals first before topcoating.

He uses enamel for the grey and enamel thinners does not affect lacquer based paint which the red is ;)

red paint : thinner = 1:1.2
red color olny Lacquer paint. do not need anything else.
