Yes, Darren, please stay safe everyone wherever you are right now! Let's keep those who have been affected by the fires here in Los Angeles in your prayers. Also, pray for the first responders that they may be safe during this time! Even though I live 25 miles from the nearest fire, the air quality is unhealthy. It is incredible to see ash falling from the sky.
I can only echo your sentiments, have been watching the fires in L.A. on the news over here, to think a fire could out run you in those high winds. Just a dreadful situation and shocking too, to see all those buildings burning over such a wide area. We can only hope that lives will not be lost of residents or fire fighters and other emergency staff. All the best to you.
Smyth Toys mate for kids sleds, they’re usually stocked at this time of year. Oh and whilst your out and about pickup the polarised sunglasses. Especially with the low sun.
@ try and get a glasses case so you can stow it safely in your work bag, Boots have a habit of giving you those thin bags, and they’re hopeless as they offer no protection.
Great video mate, I’m with you i dislike driving in the snow.. Roll on summer! Nice warm summer nights sat in the garden is needed! Fed up with this snow now haha.. There was a double clip in too leaving that first collection btw! Take care mate, safe driving in this weather
Know what you mean about the Haydock roundabout. I had a motorcyclist doing wheelies and giving the finger away from the lights! Great video, cheers mate.
Safe travels, have watched most of you're vlogs, enjoy watching whilst you drive the height and the views 🎉 I used to work on Parkgate Industrial Estate where you have just been
Great vlog again mate. Think your clip of your first collection came on twice though not sure if it was a glitch or something. Take care out on the road mate
Hello Darren can only say you were absolutely right about your remarks about driving relating to family life. The biggest problem is that driving leaves you at the mercy of outside forces that have disastrous consequences on your plans, no matter how well planned or with such good intentions, an unexpected delay on the road or waiting to load or unload has put an end to many an after school event or appointment. This unfortunately leads to a great strain on relationships and I've seen many of my work colleagues marriages ending since I started back in '84. I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones as the wife already knew how driving affects family life as her Dad was a driver and it unfortunately ended her parents marriage. I have on occasions booked a day off to make sure I've not missed something the wife would have been relying on me to attend, yes school nativity comes to mind. That's enough bringing down the comments section! Speaking of Ice Road truckers, I was lucky enough to meet Alex Debogorski what a lovely bloke. OK talk of sledging and ice road truckers leads me to this one just for fun Darren. th-cam.com/video/4cFZ95Vq7nI/w-d-xo.html All the best take care out there.
Hi Darren. Enjoying your video. The part of the horrible Haydock roundabout as you go onto the M6. I've only been on that once. And boy, I got to admit, if you don't know it (as in my case), its the scariest one I've ever been on. I got through more by design than anything else. Its one of those roundabouts whereby you close your eyes and takes your chance🤣🤣🤣
I was always taught to drive to the conditions , if that means at a slower speed , safety is paramount , i feel sorry for our american friends one half of the country has very deep snow the other side its fires , with copd it would kill me , stay safe guys

Stay safe over there, the whole situation is like something from a movie, hoping for minimal casualties
