Fighting acne and post inflammatory erythema/hyperpigmentation is exhausting, the constant cycle or hormonal breakouts that leave marks and then as they begin to clear...BOOM more acne.
Monthly hormonal fluctuations affect the skin and it sucks!
I have been dealing with acne for so long and this channel alone documents the past 2 years of my struggle, trying all kinds of topical acne treatments - from Azelaic acid and Salicylic acid to hardcore skin creams like tretinoin and hydroquinone.
I was prescribed Doxycycline 100mg in March 2022. The end skin results that you see in this video are exactly 12 weeks after taking my first antibiotic capsule - (Full length video linked).
My spots were incredible painful and somewhat itchy. They were hard to miss 🙃 in 4 weeks of differin and doxycycline use, I have seen a dramatic decrease in my pimples and the redness continues to go down.
I am still going to have quite the battle with my pigmentation though.
For that reason I have also started at home microneedling. #acnejourney

@@blackswan7491 I'll send you this video I advise you to watch it fully, it's all about retinols you will benefit from it: th-cam.com/video/wzRX4fsboTg/w-d-xo.html Now, just so you know I go to a specialized dermatologist, and she is also dealing with my eczema pretty well, so I trust her a lot, I get eczema on my face sometimes, yet diffrin has not triggered my eczema. my doc advised me to use diffrin once a night, after moisturizing leaving diffrin for 1 hour and washing it, i did this for 2 weeks, thats how you introduce it to your skin in the safest way and you only put pea size amount be careful with how much you use, after 2 weeks you put it also once a night and leave it on without washing , but always make sure you moisturize before and after applying it to be safe. if you have any questions that I can help with I would be glad to help you Ik how hard it is to suffer with acne.

It's clearing up and redness is going bye-bye. I did a tca peel 30% and that helped peel off some acne scars. Just used a dermapen. (0.5mm-1.00mm) only on my scars. 🎉Heres to looking at you, kid! ✨ Good luck to everyone on their journeys, it's very personal.

I have had acne for twenty years now, it’s under control now that I have improved my diet and skin routine. But I don’t get it when people make a big fuss over it. Mine is a combination acne prone sensitive skin. In 2020, in my late thirties acne flared up like crazy due to probably the use of an unhygenic razor. Doxycycline, atopical Clyndamyacin, Tretinoin, Benzoyl peroxide, and daily use of sunscreen really really helped and it subsided within 6 months. Tretinoin and sunscreen helped a lot with hyperpigmentation. I am a regular user of Acne patches I am 38 now. If my gut is bad or if I depressed or during PMS, it shows up right away on my face 🫣 Also, Jojoba oil really helps calming my skin and sometimes subsides acne like a miracle.
