Patricia i agree with you..Born and grew up in Mayo Road...Have not visited since my dad passed away.But i have relatives living there..The view in Gordon Village is spectacular in the night.But the roads were not..Has the roads been fixed??.

I enjoyed watching this video. The lush, green naturals really got me hooked. Never knew there was so much of it in Gran Couva. Too bad about the overgrown grass and other bushes along the roadsides and the extremely poor conditions of some parts of the roads as well. Thanks for bringing such trips into my home as I would never be able to visit in person. I appreciate that 100% of the camera time is utilised in showing exactly what the video is all about. Kudos to you JB and again five stars.
I haven't been to Gran Couva in 5 years and where I grew up and walk those roads especially from the police station to La Vega estate... Thank you for doing this I really enjoyed it... Actually seeing the cemetery were my parents are as well... Keep up the great work brother
Thanks for sharing, I haven't been to Grand Couva in many years,the last time I was there was when I visited La Vega in 2002, also I did some work at a house there and some grass cutting in another part in the late 80s, Looking at your video I was amazed by how much things changed, I appreciate this video because it brought back memories and remember how quiet and serene this area is.

Live in the US. Sitting here still watching the video (it’s almost finished). Currently home alone, after a long difficult day around this time last Sunday. It’s late in the afternoon, and I'm enjoying how calm I am right now compared to last Sunday -- around this time. watching a video like this with such wonderful background music and greeneries makes me wish I was somewhere green and natural -- away from all the stress of the concrete jungle. I'm not sure that makes any sense to you, but believe me when I say, transformative. Nothing last forever, bad times are temporary and good times are temporary, last week was bad for me, but this week, I'm relaxed and calm and currently at peace. Watching this beautiful video and the images and the music transformed my Sunday. Thanks
