Hello again TAIJI these videos r gold to me thank u for sharing.. do u start at 12 o’clock or at the needle it’ll help me when I’m practicing ur videos if I kno where u start I’m a huge fan thank you n always been obsessed with Japanese culture n Japanese hiphop since the 90s I caouldnt believe u been doing this since the 90s u look like a cute lil kid still lol 90s r my era too ❤️🇯🇵
Thanks again for your message Joi! The position of the marking when I do Juggling is looking at the tip of the needle. I am very happy that you like Japanese culture and hiphop!💙 Also, let us know your favorite artists and things😉
@@TAIJIofficial thanx 4 the reply taiji glad 2 hear I also start at the needle rather then 12 o’clock 👍🏽 I’m a 90s type bgirl had a pen pal fr okinawa in 95 I was 14 then I knew I loved Japanese culture n hiphop my own culture I wanted 2 mix the 2.. so I started having pen pals fr japan so I can get an inside look at hiphop in Japan no internet then lol I loved DJ Krush, Buddha brand few of my favs that I’ll never forget hoping to be as good a turntablist as u asap by watching all ur videos.
DJ Krush and Buddha Brand are some of my favorite artists too! My hiphop roots are in a group called Schadaraparr, do you know them? They embody Japanese hiphop with a unique Japanese interpretation of hiphop and a Native Tangues crew-like flexibility.
I really like the way you count 1/8 notes. Using “1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8” is much easier than 1-and-2-and-3-and-4….etc… Is that common in music theory in Japan? Almost all other DJ tutorials I’ve followed teach using “and” for eight notes. And that can get confusing… ✌️
I see Beat Juggling as an extension of Trickmixing. Therefore, to truly understand Beat Juggling, I recommend a careful study of the basics and applications of Trick Mixing. It is very important to learn the technique step by step. Thanks
thank's for all beginner

When you are showing the pattern in slow motion, is there any significance to the green colour you use for counting certain notes?

I think it is important to count (be aware of) the off-beat of the rhythm properly.
Just like the dancers do!😉
Bought your tunes from Bandcamp. Every little helps! Keep them coming bro!
Thank you so much Boom! I'm glad I could help!
How is the best way to start if you want to do a DMC set one day? Beat juggling first or trick mixing or a mix bit of both ?
I see Beat Juggling as an extension of Trickmixing.
