PERIMENOPAUSE!!!!!!! I thought I was going crazy (tired, sad, questioning myself, etc.). Then I read symptoms of perimenopause and a light bulb went off. Every woman goes through it, it passes in a few years. Be kind to yourself and be patient, just like you are with adolescents going through the same thing. God bless!
Hi my beautiful sister in Christ!! I have an autoimmune disease to and my energy is absent around 5. I’m a mom of 5 but they’re grown now. A grandma of 8. Thanks for your content. I love y’all and hope y’all have a blessed weekend ahead my darlings ❤
I am a mother of 5 grown children. I saw a you tube the mother had more then 10 kids and she had a beautiful laundry system. She link an older kid with a little. Everyone had there own laundry basket. This way all the laundry that went in the washer belonged to one person. It might mean smaller loads sometimes. The children were responsible for their laundry, bedding and towels. Once a week they were assigned laundry time. The bigs help the littles. She had boxes covered with contact paper and labeled pants shirts underwear they sat on a shelf. Little ones got lower shelves. Even her toddlers could throw the clothes in the right boxes. Church clothes and dresses got hung up. She gave up on folding. As the kids got older and wanted no wrinkles they started to fold there laundry. If I did it all over again I would do this, I hope it helps . Lots of love mama you are in the messy middle of all things.
I’m not even 5 minutes into this video and I’m so grateful for it! What a breath of fresh air that this fellow homeschooling Mama from TX needed. I’ve been feeling weary off and on, feeling like I fall short too many times for my perfectionist spirit. When I see you with six I get inspired that I can do it with three. But man, sometimes it gets tough and often exhausting right?! Thanks so much for this beautifully edited video. You’re doing great! 😃👏🏻✝️
I love how you showed the AFTER scenes through your school spaces! We always see the beautiful, organized spaces…but it’s helpful to see the real life aftermath of a school day! 😄
I found your page in the middle of a crazy season we just started going back to church I graduate college in November together we have 8 kids with only one at home full time, apparently we're starting a compound bc all my brother in laws are putting tiny houses on our property that the Lord has blessed us with. I listen to your videos while I'm doing school work and it helps to keep me focused on either school work or whatever the Lord is trying to tell me that day so thank you for doing what you're doing
Thank you Shayla for sharing so much of yourself and your home. As a homeschooling mama of 3 who just moved into an old fixer upper, I find your content very refreshing and relatable. Though I've been homeschooling for three years now, I've only just accepted Jesus into my heart this past fall... seeing your Godly family and hearing you discuss your faith is such a blessing to me. I look forward to seeing more of what you do around the homestead.
Hello Geneva, I'm so glad to have you here. Thank you for sharing this! Blessings to you and yes, I'll continue trying to bless with the content here! 💛
I'm on my last kiddo to homeschool with just 1 year left before graduation. It is bittersweet to see the end coming. It's been challenging and exhausting, but one of the biggest blessings of my life. Hang in there homeschool moms, the years fly by too fast.
Having been a homeschool mom, and having taught my children to do their own laundry, I do have one tip. When multiple people are using the washer, the dryer, and the laundry baskets, it can get confusing. I did not want to have to wonder if clothes were clean or dirty when they were in a basket. so my solution was that dirty clothes always go into a round basket. Clean clothes always go into an oblong basket. If one child needed the dryer, and someone else’s clothes were in it, they would empty those clothes into an oblong basket. Then there was no question as to whether those clothes were clean or dirty. Same thing if I needed the dryer. I would empty their clothes into an oblong basket. That saved us more headaches than you can possibly imagine.
Lori :Great system! ❤ For me I used light weight hampers/lined wicker hampers ONLY for DIRTY CLOTHES. LAUNDRY HAMPERS WITH WHEELS WORK GREAT ! LAUNDRY BASKETS are for CLEAN CLOTHES ONLY. I also used CHILD SIZE laundry baskets for my 4 adopted kids. SO MANAGEABLE for the kids ❣ I washed & dried & folded all the clothes myself. All they had to do was put their own clothes away & keep the drawers neat. ( All the children had ADHD. )
I’m extremely grateful for finding your channel and this video. I’m a 50 year old Christian homeschool mom, (to a very energetic 5 year old), devoted wife, (to a husband that doesn’t live with us full time due to current job demands), and dealing with perimenopause as well as Alpha Gal Syndrome that sometimes drains me like an autoimmune condition. I really found you relatable as well as I liked how you presented a lot of real life positives as well as real life challenges. Plus really loved the devotional you shared, thank you for that.
I hear you shayla, I always relate so much to you. Also, having hashimoto I fizzle out so early in the day . I know I have been experiencing burn out badly and at 46 I found out I was expecting number 9! Sadly I lost the little one and have been struggling with so many emotions. Thank you for encouraging mothers, it is an exhausting calling . You look beautiful shayla.
Thank you for being real about the burnout, it's refreshing to realize I'm not alone, and also with autoimmune fatigue. When you shared the bible devotional, it made me tear up because today being New Yr's day my Bible time happened to be about John 15 and I knew God was calling me to abide in Him more. I literally was saying, "how do I do this as a mom? With constant interruptions?". So When you shared that, I knew God was using that to speak to me to keep my eyes on Him, to come back to the calling He gave me as a Homeschool mama & Wife, and parent. Thank you so much for sharing! 😀
I have 5 children and we also homeschool. Same thing happened to me, couldn’t concentrate and my prayer life was 5 min here and there. What helped me the most was to find some kind of prayer bracelet ( I use an old necklace) and pray the Lord’s Prayer thru the beads until my mind quiets down and I can truly start talking to God. Try it it works!
Thank you for this wonderful video. Funnily enough, I watched it while folding laundry! You are an inspiration to me, as young homeschool mom with pre schoolers!
i only discovered your channel tonight after a day of feeling overwhelmed by the constant mess that a larger family has, specifically the never ending dishes and laundry. Before I hopped online I read some of my Bible and wrote a prayer asking God to help me bear more fruit. I got major goosebumps watching your video and listening to your devotional which felt like God speaking straight to my heart, to the specifics of the prayer I asked him only minutes ago. I also have autoimmune issues and wanted to just say hi and thank you for sharing. Love Carrie. x
Not sure how your channel popped up for me yesterday, but wow....I believe God put it in my path. Hope you find your energy 😊 but really....wow I'm tired watching you 😅. Hang in there my goodness, look at your day...take a little nap....keep up the great work
What an absolutely gorgeous home, stunning area, and your home decor style is amazing! I’m 56 and I have never lived in a finished home in my entire life. It’s sometimes so frustrating to always be working on something but I’m trying to be grateful that I even have a home. 😊
I was a single mom of 4 all with in 7 years. I went to school and worked outside of home. My children went to public school, while I got my R.N. And worked. I started my children on putting in casserole in oven, I had premade meals and froze and then would thaw 1 in fridge while we were at school. They would put in casserole when home off school bus. Then they had assigned days of washing/ drying clothes. Start homework after chores started. Assigned days for animal chores. Anyway this was our schedule!
I love the reality in your videos. What a breath of fresh air to have real and detailed circumstances instead of picture perfect staged content. This is more motivating to me and shows all of us mamas who have less than perfect lives that we are all in this together.
This was so encouraging to me! I grew up homeschooled and as a newlywed am still praying about if I'll be a homeschool mom when the time comes! Thanks for being so authentic and welcoming us into your family's routine - the thought of homeschooling (with minimal micromanaging!) is less intimidating when I see others walking in a place of honesty and flexibility ❤
Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. At 44, I’m going through perimenopause and it has been a bit more emotional than I expected. It’s nice to see the hard parts too, so thank you for showing those. We homeschool our 5 (ages 6-15) and we love Biblioplan. It works well for big families with a wide range of ages.
I absolutely loved this video! Such a breath of fresh air! I love how real you are. Getting a glimpse into your week was so encouraging. I also so appreciate the calming volume and tone of your voice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us 💜
So enjoyed this. Sounds like we have kids close to the same ages… we had done Sonlight for years and it became so exhausting trying to make it work with all grade levels. Thanks for sharing bits of your life with us.
@@mountainmamashome we’re pretty eclectic.. oldest son is doing all Christian Light paces b/c he’s just focusing on getting done and then learning a trade… my other older ones are doing a sonlight core independently, Christian Light for Algebra, and about to start TGTB Highschool for language arts… I will be doing a sonlight core with my littles and middles, and they will be doing TGTB for language arts, and teaching textbooks for math (TGTB math for my littles). It’s a little chaotic and I idealistically envisioned us all doing the same thing but that is just not realistic- at least not for us.
Hello! I’m a homeschooling mom of 7, and I had to stop at the laundry 😂… My sanity keeper was the day that I informed all my children, all the way down to 6 or 7 years old, that they were now being put on the schedule to do “their own” laundry once a week. This way, I rarely had to interact with theirs, other than twice a year when I cleaned out their closets to switch out the seasons. Of course my laundry room still gets overwhelmed with my own laundry (self, husband, and little one), but I no longer have to stress out about whether they lose an outfit, have an outfit to wear at all, pour bleach in the wrong load, machine dry my “hang-only” clothes, etc. The bonus is that now I can offer to pay them so much per load of MINE if I’m in the middle of 5 other things and can’t get to it. And lastly, if someone else’s load needs switched out & they are unavailable, we have a “common courtesy” clause to just lend a hand… Ok, now back to your video lol…
So happy to see an update!! You are not alone, the list of things to do is real here too. However I agree, getting outside and feeling the fresh air, the cool breeze, and knowing that the days are longer...just fill my heart so much. I have been thinking about you all, wishing you all well.
Thank you, Friend!! It's funny, the day before this video went live I started feeling more energetic and I'm so thankful for a couple great days this week so far 🥰. Good to hear from you, Alesha 😊!
I so needed to see this . Thank you for your content. ❤️ I appreciate it very much. I just found your channel.. you have blessed me!! & may God continue to bless you and your family!! Thank you again
I used to be a SHM and I homeschooled my oldest. I have worked outside of the home for the last couple of years and my oldest has done online school. although I work outside of the home now, I am really beginning to embrace more of the traditional ways of doing things. I have found your channel refreshing and inspiring. I love how you are real about day to day life.
As a mama who feels struck down over and over and like I am just waiting on disaster to strike, I am grateful for you. I wish I could hug you and pray with you and just have a friend like you. I need help. I feel so lost right now. Sending you love and prayers ❤
Thank you, Rebecah, I hope the lost feeling dissipates soon and is replaced with peace and direction for you. I know the feeling of being struck down over and over again. Please know that you're not alone in that and that this is normal and to be expected in this world. I have another video that I did a couple weeks ago where I talked about this. I think it might help you to watch! Let me know if you need the link, it's the one about problems in the life of a Christian. God bless you!!
My mom recommended your channel to me and I feel like we're twins! Attempting and fairly new to homesteading, 2nd Gen homeschoolers, God!, feeling overwhelmed and physically exhausted after lunch, auto immune disorder.. I swear, all of it 😂 fully enjoyed your video 🖤
I have started my day with morning prayers. My son and me ask God, Mother of God, Angel and our saint's patrons to help us to make will of God well as we can. This motivation give a force to fight bad things which a day fullfill...
I have just discovered you…. What joy. A homeschool mama of five, I am age 41 and my youngest is 8 months and my oldest is 14 and autistic….. we are poor, my husband isn’t a believer, I get villified for “not working”…. And the messes…. We don’t own our home, we rent and have to move from grim place to grim place. But still gratitude and joy are my mainstays to get through and I am so grateful I have found you and your realness - I am in the UK and not in the mountains, but I have lived in various countries and situations and so much remains so relatable - oh the laundry! The laundry and the dishes are never done! And I do all our dishes by hand…. Sending love your way and blessings. So great to peek into your home - I almost feel I have a new friend.
Just watched another video and had to watch another. We homeschooled and it was not easy keeping a neat home. We started late in the years doing a 15 min pickup every evening before bedtime. It was a game changer for us. It was so good that the timer went to 10 min! Everyone did so much better about keeping their things picked up through the day. Even me! 😂 So glad that you found people to help you! I so wish I would have had that! Thanks for your videos and keep them coming! 😊
I wonder if you've had your thyroid checked? I know when my levels are off, I crash in the afternoon. 1-2p I'm falling asleep if I'm having a flare up. Love the video though! Thanks for sharing. I'm second generation homeschooler but on a much smaller scale 😂 my daughter is finishing up kindergarten and my son is younger. I love hearing from mom's of older kids and how they homeschool. Thanks for sharing!
Hello Lindsay! We have so much in common! Yes, I have hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I just got my levels checked yesterday and they are in fact way off! This has happened every winter. I need to be better about going in and getting the levels checked. Thank you for commenting and being here!
I sincerely enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for sharing a peek into your week. I am a homeschooling mama of 3 littles. This warms my heart and makes me feel like I'm not alone.
New subscriber, my mother recommended your channel to me. I homeschooled my son all the way through. He is 20 now. There is no greater job then being a stay at home, homeschool mom. But it is exhausting and nobody really understands unless they are doing it! Your doing a fantastic job. I love how you show things as they really are that is going to be so helpful and encouraging to other mothers! ❤
I’m so glad you popped up on my list! I think I can honestly say that I’ve never come across a TH-cam mom that I have so much in common with! This was so fun to watch and I almost LOL’d at the stream of things you kept mentioning that I relate to or do. 😊 My husband and I have been together since 2004, too. We have 8 children and I’m 49 (I also have 2 older children). We homeschool and homestead and I’ve hit something the past couple years that I haven’t labeled mid life crisis, but I use the word “overwhelmed” abundantly instead. 😋 I’m so overwhelmed that I’ve recently stopped canning and making our bread from scratch. We’ve been homesteading on our land for 12 years. It was also a fixer upper. We’ve been working so hard. We’ve never ever had a vacation of any sort. Our youngest is 2 (I’m still breastfeeding!) and I also have psoriatic arthritis and GERD. I’m the Azure drop coordinator for my area. :) Have you said what state you’re in?? I’m dying of curiosity! I’m in north Idaho.
Hello. I have lupus and chronic arthritis. The fatigue is debilitating! My energy is so super low. When I am at pick up line waiting for my daughter, I fall asleep in the car. It's hard. Praying that God will bless you to come through this quickly. In Jesus Name we pray, amen and amen
Hi my first time here! What a beautiful Homeschooling family the only way with God! Your homestead is beautiful & love the way you do your chore list for your children ! Have a Blessed night & God bless
What an encouraging video. I love how real you are about how exhausting life is in midlife and with autoimmune issues. I think we expect ourselves to still be able to do what we did in our 20's, and then we get disappointed in ourselves. We need to learn to rest more, and do more self-care, like you said.
Hello Susan! I agree, I keep comparing my 40+ self with my 20 and 30+ self. I guess I had unrealistic expectations of what I'd bee like in my 40's for sure. Thank you for your encouraging comment!
Your just a beautiful human!!!!! Also your home is so beautiful and can see all the hard work!!! What a dream on earth y’all have created. Love you and your family only knowing you from afar. Love a AZ God fearing homeschool momma.
Thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable and honest! This is beautiful & truly you are amazing!! Thank you for being such a wonderful example to our family and the world !
I do love seeing the REAL! Thank you for being real here. I feel you on the laundry! I keep saying my life is laundry! And now my husband's elderly and disabled parents have moved in with us, so there's even MORE laundry than we previously had with our already large family. Plus, homesteading life with a large family is so much work already without extra laundry and doing senior care. But this is a season, and it's a busy one. The Lord will get us through it. What has helped me with the laundry is taking the whole operation outside. I love being outside, so just being able to experience fresh air and sunshine while I'm doing laundry has a huge effect on my attitude. I'm a bit OCD, so it's actually therapeutic for me to hang like colors/ shapes/ sizes together. I've come to enjoy laundry now. My hubby made me a marvelous shelf/ table attached to our large wash line, so I can sort and fold each item as I take it down. Then every family member has their own stack of laundry. My children know that the first chore after school is to go out and get their stack and put it away. No more laundry piled up in the house! It's been a wonderful solution for our family.
I have recently found you and enjoy your channel. The homeschooling, homesteading and constant work house I am there but with less kids. Can't wait for more videos
Mid life crisis and lack of energy...I can so relate! We have 4 kids and a mountain homestead too. I'm 47 and my energy is running pretty low! Trying to get motivated to garden.
I’ll be 36 this year & that’s not old right??! My energy & motivation levels have dropped within the past couple of years… I don’t have an Autoimmune disorder or anything that I’m aware of… Honestly the first few hours of my morning is sipping on coffee, praying, listening to something on you tube from another homeschool mom, writing out grocery lists & paying any bills. Then I jump up like a mad woman & start cleaning, cooking, & telling them what to do first in school 🏃🏻♀️🤯😮💨I’m just exhausted but get so much less done in a day than I did a few years ago🫣🤷🏻♀️
Thank you so much for your honesty and realism. It’s so good to see that it’s not just me. I’m in the city and wish I could be on a homestead and teach my two sons all you are doing for your children. You have a beautiful family and doing an awesome job. Keep going momma. I know it’s hard but you are also helping so many. Thank you, thank you, and god bless you.
New subscriber here. Love your channel. I'm 44 years old, and I've started to go through perimenopause. It has affected my energy, sleep, and emotions a great deal. This may be something you are starting to experience. Just thought i'd mention it. All the best to you.❤
I stumbled across your channel and I just want tell you how multitalented I think you are - you have a natural sense of aesthetic beauty, wonderful organizational skills, you are honest and a good mother. May the Lord bless you. 🙏✝️
Blessings to you and your family. I feel so relatable to this video, I think I'm hitting early menopause and I have found out I have EoE which has hit my energy hard with the grueling winters here in Germany. Homeschooling my 12 year old daughter, which we try to collect and swap books as a hobby with our local small bookstore. It's important to get out. This is a resoundingly familiar home video that I needed to hear. God bless. ❤
Hello Devan, I'm so glad this video resonated and helped you, that was my prayer, that it would find and help those needing it! Early menopause is rough 😫. I hope it gets easier for you. God bless you too and thank you for saying hello from Germany!!
Hi, I am so happy that God led me to your channel. We just started homeschooling with 3 children this year. Have you heard about Gather Round homeschooling? You have one topic for the whole family which covers pretty much everything but math. No bouncing between children. Should work for big families. We'll give it a try.😊 God bless you.
We use MFW also and I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. We may change things up for high school as well. Laundry… try this method: assign everyone a day of the week (I take weekends off), and that is their day to wash, dry, and put away all their laundry. It’s been working for our family for a few years now.
New subscriber here 🤗 just wanted to say how lovely your home and family is. I appreciate the honesty of the overwhelming feelings, makes other moms like myself not feel as terrible knowing we’re not alone. God bless!
Your channel is such an encouragement to me. I found you today. I needed something to lift me a bit during my son's napping time(1 y old). So i watched you for 15 mins and then i napped, too. Thanks for taking time to do this. Must be hard work for you. Plz take care of yourself and lots of blessings and hugs from Sweden.
I'm a homeschooling mom of 5 and I can relate with so much of what you talk about. I think I have autism or Aspergers and possibly ADHD or sensory issues but haven't been diagnosed. I have a child who has. I am also dealing with mid-life issues. It is no easy thing. In addition, my family also recently bought a farm and are adjusting to farm life. I love this video and your channel. I want to know all the things. What you teach, what you cook... I just love it, so inspiring! Thank you for sharing. I just subscribed.
I started my kids doing their laundry at age 8. One tip that saves time is each person has an assigned day for doing their laundry. My son has Wednesday. My daughter is Monday. I’m Friday and my husband is Saturday. The other days are for sheets, towels, blankets and misc items. Sorting takes more time so separate loads eliminates sorting and each person is only doing laundry one day instead of everyday. Of course towels have to be folded but those are super quick and who folds sheets anyways????
I'm blessed your channel came up for me to see. I'm a Christian homemaker, who home schooled our two children who are now both in their early to mis 30's. Our son is married, and we have three granddaughters. Our daughter has a small home on our property and helps us on the homestead. We raise dairy goats, have a Jersey dairy cow and she just blessed us with a jersey heifer calf, we also have chickens and turkeys. What I'm finding I like most about your vlog, is that it is real and about everyday life and challenges. I just turned 58 yrs. old, and I don't multitask well anymore, so have felt behind on most everything for a few years now but I am blessed to wake each morning and work hard to have a positive attitude and be able to get all I can get done and be happy with that. I'm also finding a nap or some quiet time around 1pm does wonders for me. Again, I'm glad your vlog showed up in my feed.
I love your videos and the content is amazing! I've always wanted to live this way but it did not work out for me for so many reasons. I'm now 61, kids are grown and gone, granddaughters are 11 and 6 now and I feel the need to now start to really focus on my home. I've never lived in a finished home either. Always something in the works. Our house is 100 yrs old. I went to a Christian Women's Retreat last weekend. It was amazing! It has been 15 yrs since I've went to a retreat. So glad I went. Your videos popped up on TH-cam. Totally a God thing! ❤️
PLEASE KEEP COMMENTS KIND AND RESPECTFUL. Comments that are not will not be approved or even fully read 🥰!
So I'm not a home school mom. My kids are grown. I was a public school teacher for 30+ years.
I'm loving your channel.
I want to encourage you. In hindsight, I regret working full-time, not having whatever size family our good Lord would give us, and I think home schooling is an absolute must considering our world today.
BRAVO!!! To one super hard working selfless and oh, so tired mom. YOU WON'T REGRET YOUR DECISION.
This comment has touched and warmed my heart, it's so encouraging. Thank you, Stephanie!

For me I used light weight hampers/lined wicker hampers ONLY for DIRTY CLOTHES. LAUNDRY HAMPERS WITH WHEELS WORK GREAT !

THANK YOU FOR LEAVING THE KITCHEN AT 9PM, Amen!!!
Hello, I'm so glad you found me, and you are welcome! Thank you for being here and sharing!

I cant believe I just stumbled across your channel! Actually God probably sent it to me! I don't feel so alone and love your encouragement!!!
You need a bigger fridge. I recommend the one with the freezer at the bottom. Having the top wide with double doors has been a game changer for us.
We actually have three fridges, lol! Two of the Galanze, and another in the basement. 😊
Thank you for this wonderful video. Funnily enough, I watched it while folding laundry! You are an inspiration to me, as young homeschool mom with pre schoolers!
You are so welcome!
i only discovered your channel tonight after a day of feeling overwhelmed by the constant mess that a larger family has, specifically the never ending dishes and laundry.
Hang in there my goodness, look at your day...take a little nap....keep up the great work
This video was so spot on. I think God showed me this video for a reason. Thank you.
You are so welcome, I'm glad it was helpful to you 😊.
"Still waiting for the day when I don't have to remind them to do their things." Me too!
😅🤣😅
Naps for 45 or just resting quietly daily are a life saver !!!!
What an absolutely gorgeous home, stunning area, and your home decor style is amazing! I’m 56 and I have never lived in a finished home in my entire life. It’s sometimes so frustrating to always be working on something but I’m trying to be grateful that I even have a home. 😊
Thank you, Victoria! Thank you for sharing a little bit about your situation too. Hearing others stories is always encouraging. Blessings!
I just recently came across your channel and I’ve watched two full videos. I love your realistic way of sharing.
Thank you for telling me! Those views help so much, and I'm glad they resonate with you!
Hello, you are welcome, and thank you for commenting! 🥰
When Morning comes that mess that looked like a mountain….I felt that in my chest.
Keep going, momma. Jesus and you---- y'all have this!❤🙏
I absolutely loved this video! Such a breath of fresh air! I love how real you are. Getting a glimpse into your week was so encouraging. I also so appreciate the calming volume and tone of your voice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us 💜
This is such a kind comment, thank you so much! And you are welcome. Blessings to you!
So enjoyed this. Sounds like we have kids close to the same ages… we had done Sonlight for years and it became so exhausting trying to make it work with all grade levels. Thanks for sharing bits of your life with us.
You are welcome, Shannon! Sonlight does look like so much when you have 8 kids! I'd love to know what you are planning for this year!
I love how you have the week organized ❤
Love your honesty and transparency that most Christians don’t want to share!!!!
You have a beautiful property and I so appreciate your content
Truly enjoyed watching this 🪻
I so needed to see this . Thank you for your content. ❤️ I appreciate it very much. I just found your channel.. you have blessed me!! & may God continue to bless you and your family!! Thank you again
You are welcome, thank you too for being here 💛🙏!
Thank for sharing. Your plate sure is full but you are doing a great job.
Thank you, Tiffany!
Awe! Hello! I'm so glad you are here! Thank you for saying hey and being here! Blessings to you!
Love this video and your transparency.
Awe, thank you for this sweet comment and for sharing! Blessings to you as well, I hope you have a lovely week, Abigail!
We have to remind them all the time.
I love your house! We just moved last year also but only to an acre!
You are really living life i wish I could live again
You might also like lemon and coriander! I use it in our cleaning spray too. It smells so lovely! ❤
That sounds lovely! I'm going to try that, thank you!
This is the first time I’m tuning in and I LOVE how honest this is.
You might look into adding organic mushrooms in your diet.
Immunity:
Turkey tail, Chaga, Agarikon, Coryceps.
Mental clarity and energy: Lion’s Mane.
Hello Kate! Nope, you are not alone at all! 💛
I loved how you put a devotional in the middle of this video. ❤️
Love this ❤❤🎉 thank you 🙏
New subscriber, my mother recommended your channel to me. ❤
Thank you 🙏!💛
Each of my children had assigned laundry days. All children from birth had their own hamper and 2 sets of towels! Helps so much.
Hello Gretel! I loved reading this comment, so fun! It's always nice to hear from someone with so much in common. I'm in the PNW too!
Hello. I have lupus and chronic arthritis. The fatigue is debilitating! My energy is so super low. When I am at pick up line waiting for my daughter, I fall asleep in the car. It's hard. Praying that God will bless you to come through this quickly. In Jesus Name we pray, amen and amen
Yes, Yvette, may He bring us both through! Amen! Thank you.
Hi my first time here! What a beautiful Homeschooling family the only way with God! Your homestead is beautiful & love the way you do your chore list for your children ! Have a Blessed night & God bless
I love it!!
Thank you for your honesty. It resonates!
You are so welcome. Blessings!
I’m so blessed to have found your channel! You are such a light and an encouragement to me!
I love the realness that you showing this video!
Thank you! 💛
Hello! Thank you so much, Mzfit Mama! You're comments always warm my heart!! 💛💛💛
Thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable and honest! This is beautiful & truly you are amazing!! Thank you for being such a wonderful example to our family and the world !
Thank you so much!
I LOVE the idea of taking laundry outside, I'm still waiting on my clotheslines to be hung, but also I love the folding table outside idea!!!
Same here! I'm hoping that the fresh air and exercise will give me a boost.
What a wonderful glimpse into real homemaking. Encouraging, and just what I needed this morning.
You are so welcome, and thank you too for the encouragement and for being here!
God gifted us sleep. We need to remember that as moms. We can't do it all... all the time. Blessings mommas!
New Here! Mom of 10! Homeschooling homesteader! Love your channel 🥰
Thank you, Susan, that is so kind of you to say!!
I just saw your channel and enjoy it very much. It takes time to do a house when living in it. Most kids don’t do things as planned. They are kids.
You are so encouraging . Thank you for sharing your life with us! 🙏🏻
Wish I had your videos when I was younger now I’m going to share your videos with my daughter. Thank you ❤
Blessings to you and your family.
Your home is beautiful. Your journey has been so inspiring for me. God bless you 😊
Your home is lovely because your family are united and God is with you. X
Thank you so much!
I just found your channel today!! Your life seems so relatable and flexible and I’m loving seeing your homeschool schedule day! Thanks for you videos.
God has blessed you abundantly with intelligence and wisdom. Thank you for sharing this. What a lovely home.
Thank you 🙏!
I just found your channel! Our days look very similar and is so relatable. I’m so glad to have stumbled upon your channel!
God bless!
Thank you, Kjaye 💛🙏
My husband and I worked at children's home with 8 kids each room has to do their room were assigned a certain day of the week this really helped
Hello Michelle, thank you for commenting! So glad to have you here!
Everything is beautiful about this video.❤️
I started my kids doing their laundry at age 8. One tip that saves time is each person has an assigned day for doing their laundry. My son has Wednesday. My daughter is Monday. I’m Friday and my husband is Saturday. The other days are for sheets, towels, blankets and misc items. Sorting takes more time so separate loads eliminates sorting and each person is only doing laundry one day instead of everyday. Of course towels have to be folded but those are super quick and who folds sheets anyways????
This is such a great idea, Sherrie! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this! I was blessed reading it!
Your boys being so happy with farm life……. I believe my boys would love it as well. My boys are 6,8,10
