the game in my region has dropped off significantly. i play on pc and if i disable cross play there is literally almost no one for northeast america. Only wifi warriors on three bar. People are so salty and just do one and done even in casual. wish they would fix the online which to me is more important than balancing right now. wifi filter. bring back best to 5, 10 or deathmatch if not in rank at least casual with auto stage select. you spend so much time waiting for a match opposed to actually playing that plus all the precanned animations when you add it up you spend more time doing nothing than actually playing. I main shaheen, and not a fan of the nerfs he got, but i can live with them cause shaheen is a fundamental character anyway but the balancing overall doesn’t make sense jin is always strong, gave buffs to king paul? alisa? like what? but this game has dropped off a lot and they really need to fix online. the casuals aren’t coming back, no one cares about the shop, the dlc for this season is a disappointment, i normally get the dlc to support the game even though i only main one character but im not spending any money with how namco has been lately. just disappointed.
oh and the point spread. makes no sense. just make each match worth like 200 points. you get penalized if you decline the second match but don’t make it too egregious. but this 1000 point drops that happen really make people salty. i don’t care about rank but i care about my time and im just tired of loading screens. so make it where people are less frail about rematching
