Idols are expected to look perfect, so young and beautiful/handsome (this is why the men wear makeup, it’s also a part of Korean tradition and culture) as well as being talented, so songwriting, dancing, singing, rapping etc. So there have actually been numerous instances of idols collapsing on stage or throughout the day, getting physically ill, suffering mental illness and in the worst cases can cost them their lives. It’s an extremely tiring, difficult and stressful lifestyle that not everybody can handle. 😞
I literally wish they could make it illegal to make someone underweight on purpose to stop this from happening. Like why do they HAVE to be thin, the disorder isn't cute at all
